If you look at the raw numbers, over 2.8 million jobs were lost last month. Of course then they have to scrub the data for "seasonal adjustment". One of these days, I am going to have to look into their "seasonal adjustment" methodology because it doesn't seem to add up. First of all, seasonal to me doesn't mean every month.
