Do you understand that polio is an entirely different type of virus than SARS-COV-2 -- a coronavirus? No? Then go do some reading and come back when you can discuss immunology from a position of knowledge.

They're all idiots. Even without any education beyond high school, it is not that hard to look up facts about viruses and how they differ -- and thus how vaccines might differ as well. You would think that realizing that your doctor will prescribe different antibiotics depending on which bacterial infection you have might have some similarities as to how viruses vary would give them a clue. But you'd be wrong. This is why they suckle at the toadstool of the Toadstool -- they embrace ignorance passionately!

How sad to be so weak that they are triggered by an 82-year-old lady wearing a mask. Bet they wish they had the cojones to run up and rip it right off!

My "epiphany" about today's Republican happened during the McCain-Palin/Obama-Biden race. Republicans actually worship stupidity, ignorance and intellectual laziness. They fucking LOVED Palin and then Fox News loved her until her wheels finally came off and they realized she was actually a crazy person.

Republicans actually look at people who speak in complete sentences as "queer" somehow. Look at how they drank at the trough of trump's meandering word salad.

Republicans worship stupid.

It's ironic how they changed in the last half a century. I grew up in a conclave of conservatives, almost all of whom were PhD scientists who all worked for the same company my dad did -- Monsanto. It used to be that Republicans valued education, particularly in the sciences, and Republican governments funded research & development. Probably because of the Cold War and our race to out-science the Soviet Union, eh?

They're completely the opposite now. They do worship stupid because they prefer to elect their fellow morons rather than ppl with education and intelligence who make them feel inferior just by existing.

He's a mentally-disturbed sock of a long-time stalker, Controlled Opposition. He can't see my posts unless you quote them; Damo put a forced ignore on him some months ago for harassment. He was digging up my old posts in a thread where I'm thread-banned, from years before, and replying to them all night long. In the morning when I would log in, my notifications would be filled with his replies and I missed actual responses that I *wanted* to see. Damo tried deleting my old posts from that thread but there were too many, so instead he just did the forced-ignore. That, of course, has infuriated Goat-CO ever since. He thinks Damo (who lives in CO and is around the age of my older kids) and me (who lives in MI and has 11 g-kids) are having an affair. :laugh:

OMG.. this place is an insane clown car sometimes. One of my "coping mechanisms" is to remain calm when someone comes at me.. both in real life and online (I'm in sales and have to stand up for myself a lot, or go poor). As soon as a troll sees I've lost my cool, they've won.

That's my coping mechanism.. that and lots and lots of weed :)
