Germany, in the throes of punitive reparations payment and loss of national identity in WWI was definitely thrilled with the status and national pride that Hitler brought with him. The analogy fails because of that main difference.

This was the first time in 11 elections that Chavez has lost one .. and even that was by a NARROW margin, and the elections in Venezuela have FAR more integrity than elections in the US.

Chavez has more respect around the world than Bush.
