Cawacko you know what this kind of stuff reminds me of? The "oh is that racist" stuff from white guys? IT reminds me of a time immediately following Anita Hill's testimony, I was very young, working in an office, I was a nothing, I think my job was a glorified file clerk. And this guy, an executive at the company, a VP if I remember right, an old guy to me, in his 50's, says to me "Good morning Darla" and then "oh, wait, is that sexual harassment?" and then starts cracking up at his own "joke".

As if it's so confusing. Oh is it sexual harassment to say good morning to a woman in the office? Oh is it racist to say hello to a black guy? What are the rules? It's soooo confusing.

It's a big act. I don't think you're at all smarmy so I'm sure you don't mean it that way...but it usually comes off really smarmy. And just icky.

You know I'm so sick and tired of the "tired" and "lame" points of view offered up for my constant bombardment of the racist and bigoted views espoused here. Heard is, "Haven't you got anything else to talk about other than race and gay issues"....."you know , you do a real disservice to actual racism by crying wolf all the time. there a probably as many racists in the dem party as the pub party"......."race, race, race, that's all you know, you're beating a horse to death", etc......

Yurt and Webbway frequently post "race-baiting" OP's. The prevailing atmosphere around here is that President Obama (who is referred to as everything to Obummer to the Nazi Communist Muslim) is illegitimate, an usurper, and an alien, with no credibility as or right to be POTUS. The exact same thing that the GOP field suggests. All of the GOP presidential contenders "out and out" lie about President Obama, everyday. The lies are pointed out and played, repeatedly, on any of the news shows on CNN or MSNBC, daily.
Has there been a single Republican to challenge the lies, or to set the record straight? Hell, no. Rick Santorum even allowed a woman in his audience to espouse "lie after lie" about President Obama, without correcting her once. Why, because he sought to gain political capital. Racism, up front and personal. All in an effort to de-legitimize, demonize, and undermine the present President of the United States, because people cannot fathom nor stomach the notion of a black man as the most powerful man in the world.

And folks have to wonder why I point out the racism and bigotry here, and rail against the racism and bigotry nation-wide???????????????? It's because it's "in-your-face" racism and bigotry. No longer are people pretending or ducking and hiding. They proudly proclaim it, with a cherry on top. But don't you dare point it out...why, because that would make you an even bigger racist and bigot than them.
And the absurdity of attempting to compare the racism of the right to the fragments of racism from the left (which, by the way, folks have to delve back to the days of Robert Byrd, and the Southern Democrats) is merely "grasping at straws". The new definition of a liberal Democrat is the opposite of a racist or a bigot. Liberal Democrats are for equality...true equality for all. Not just some. Which includes women, gays, people of color, atheists, and a considerable and compassionate nod to the fringe (illegals, unions, the poor, the disenfranchised, children, the elderly, and the infirmed).
The right believes in less intrusive and smaller government.............but no government for anyone else. Zero. No activist judges (except when it's matters they care about....like what goes on in a woman's womb...extraordinary means to keep people alive past the point of common sense (Terry Schiavo)...pipelines for oil mindless of the environmental impact they present, or drilling for the finite resource "anywhere", potentially resulting in disasters like the BP oil spill which nearly destroyed the entire Gulf of Mexico and the livelihoods of millions. Things like that. And Obama is supposed to be destroying America??????????????????????????????????????????????? It would be ROF funny if it wasn't so incredibly sad and pathetic.

99% of the assholes who acuse you of racism are simply defending themselves in the only manner available to them, blaming someone else.
It is frustrating as hell, but it is what it is. They have nothing but lies to work with. If facts would suit their cause, they would use them. Since they constantly lie, facts clearly don't suit their cause.
