The 2020 Democratic Convention starts tomorrow night through Thursday. My favorite drinking word will be "Zoom" given we cut out the easy expected ones like "God Bless America" and "Biden" or "Kamala". I want to get drunk, not shitfaced. :clink:

After being pushed back from July due to the pandemic, the Democratic National Convention will finally kick off on Monday, August 17. The DNC has planned four nights of virtual programming, culminating in Joe Biden’s acceptance speech on Thursday, August 20. The televised portion of the event has been condensed to just a few hours of “prime time” programming, set to run from 9 to 11 p.m. ET. Headliners include Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, Jill Biden, Barack Obama, and of course, Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris. On Friday, the DNC announced performances from artists including Leon Bridges, The Chicks, Common, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Billy Porter, Maggie Rogers, Prince Royce, Stephen Stills.

Here’s everything you need to know about the convention, and how to tune in.

I wonder if it's going to be a 'SnoozeFest'?

Are they going to elucidate a Platform that they are going to run on?
Is it a 'Biden is a Jolly Good Fellow' and 'Trump is an Asshole'?
I still wonder if Kamala is 'Black enough'?

Any chance the Democrats might go after the 'American Working Class' Vote? Rather than the 'We need MORE people from Bangladesh, Nigeria, and El Salvador'.

It'll be the same mutual and public jerking off but on "Zoom". At least time won't be wasted listening to applause. I'll catch the opening, then just watch the news on the rest. Might watch Slick Willie on Tuesday and Hillary on Wednesday just to see how many times they say "popular vote". :)

The platform is self-evident: We need a return to normalcy and leadership both on the world stage and domestically.

EXCLUSIVE: The Trump campaign will host a nightly recap of the Democratic National Convention, as part of its rapid response efforts and counter-programming, which they say will highlight the “radical socialism” of the left, Fox News has learned.

A Trump campaign official told Fox News on Sunday that the campaign, in response to nightly Democratic Convention programming, will launch “The Real Joe Biden,” a recap of the Democrats’ nightly events.

HA HA HA
~~

Kamala is
Bernie is
AOC is

these are the power brokers in the Dem party. Biden is just a figurehead - he has no power as a moderate
And he's not even a moderate -he wants the Green New Deal, all electric cars etc.

Senator Harris is a socialist? Any evidence?

Excellent! Great bit of info.

Thanks.

I am sure it will produce a ratings bump for Biden to add to his lead.
