Yes. ANYTHING is better than Trump, I agree with that. But, I was wondering about specifics. You know, like, are they going to do away with the Nixon 'No-Knock' law? Any chance Marijuana will become legalized nationwide? Will 'immigration' be halted until we can put Americans to Work First? Rejoining the Paris Accord? Going back to the 'Nuclear Deal' with Iran? Will we 'get tough' with China? What about 'National Health Care'? You know, shit like that.

Immigration will not be halted, and the border will be ignored. We'll get stuck with the Paris Accord and a new Iran deal. We will not stand up to China in any manner.
 
Going into it, I think the most significant part will be if Biden gives a speech that someone with dementia would be unable to give, (he will) thereby destroying Trumps* central talking point.

The only other significant part will be if Harris gives a speech to the right of Mao, thereby destroying Trump*s argument that she is a radical leftist.

Biden isn't anything - he claims to be a moderate, then in the next breath claims he will be the
" most progressive POTUS ever"..he's a political blank slate that the Dems will write all over with their socialist impulses

As will CNN and MSNBC during the GOP Convention, both will be snooze fests, Trump certainly won’t dominate cable TV as he did in 2016

Most conventions are snooze fest, but it's like panning for gold. Except for the opening tonight which I'll try to catch live, I'll record all of them and then, if there's anything newsworthy to watch later, I'll go back to that part before deleting. I'll certainly watch the Clintons, Biden and Harris with my bullshit detector charged and ready.

I'll do the same for the Republican convention. That one will be a bigger snooze fest, but what Pence and Trump have to say, especially Trump, will make or break the election for them. I'm guessing the response to Trump's speech will be undecideds to vote for someone else or to stay home. He may lose a percent or two of "decideds" too.

Regardless, it's probably best that the Republicans look to saving their majority in the Senate rather than waste time with Trump who immolates himself weekly on live television.
