All forms of govt are creations of either the oligarchy or those who seek to become the oligarchy (The Bolsheviks).

Right out of Marx. Nope. He's wrong. Under a republic, a constitution has NO authority and the government it will create has NO existence until that constitution is approved by it's owners. For the States, the owners are the people of that territory attempting to become a State. For the federal Constitution, the owners are the States.

Only the owners of a constitution can create it, ordain it to power, modify it, or destroy it (and thus dissolve the government it created).

A better query would be 'how you going to get the streets paved' ?

Obviously there are certain functions that are best addressed by all inhabitants of a jurisdiction and we have constitutions and such to attempt to control fraud and abuse but when the oligarchs (or their proxies) are the ones drawing up those measures, it never goes well.

The love of money is the root of all evil. Not entirely all but a BIG chunk.

Streets get paved because someone wanted to pave it.
For example, if I pave my driveway, I pay for the materials, equipment, and labor involved in doing it.
If a community wants to pave a street, they often get together and combine their own resources to get it done. That can be in a form of tax, charitable collection, or just the individuals each contributing the materials, labor, and needed equipment to the purpose.

If a government can change it's own 'constitution', it isn't a constitution. What you have is an oligarchy or dictatorship, not a republic.

Thanks to a poorly written constitution, America has fallen into a state of dysfunction that cannot be repaired democratically and certainly not by a democracy configured like ours.

We need our own Stalin right now to purge the fascist right out of existence.

Our failure to produce a proper leftist strongman has left the door wide open for a rightist one--
and that marks the end of our nation as a place where civilized people can live.

Why not rename the republic Crackerville right now? We're inventing the fourth world because the third world will have to look down at us.

The right wanted this to happen.
I blame the left that didn't have the balls to do what needed to be done.
They'll get the fate that cowards deserve for not electing Bernie or Liz Warren.
