That's no different from any type of accusation. It's always one person's word against another's. Now Cliff Richards has been officially cleared. I'm sure his life was hell while he was under that cloud.

I think all sexual abuse allegations should be investigated to the fullest extent, and that includes Bill Clinton and any other Dem politicians, not just those I don't like. Some accusations are so obviously false that it doesn't take much to dismiss them, and the accusers should have to answer for what they did.

Think of how many lives would have been different had Jimmy Savile been accused and investigated for his 50+ years of abuse, or the hundreds of predatory priests who were shielded for decades rather than answering for their crimes.

There are enough predators out there that I can't be automatically dismissive of those making accusations.

If the American people can forgive Bill Clinton for using his intern's pussy for a humidor and then lying about it, surely, they could forgive Trump for boasting that he can grab one.

But he chose to get down and dirty instead. When he should have pivoted straight to one of a dozen issues Hillary is vulnerable on.

It's true that Clinton signed it. I think that was a big mistake.

However, Republicans had the presidency and control of both houses of Congress in the mid-2000s and apparently reinstatement of Glass-Steagall wasn't high on their list of priorities.

Yes but that is the main problem, the police were so disorientated by Jimmy Savile and stung by criticism of their ineptitude that they then went into classic overreaction mode. The powers that be have been attempting to start an investigation into historic child sex crimes by politicians and they have had three heads appointed and rejected for one reason or another. At present, it is in total disarray and may actually be abandoned. Meanwhile those girls that were being pimped out by Pakistani men in Rotherham for so many years were just ignored because the police and social services were terrified of being called racist.
