There is no rational need for members needing to gain permission on the APP section of the forum. It's counterproductive to expanding decent and adult posting on this forum. Consider this a challenge to the forum's staff to take away the need for permission.

And if not then why not?

My argument for doing so is to say that we already have the forum's worst abusers of decency posting there now. None have apparently been refused posting privileges on that section and now should be. The rules are suitable strict enough to make it an easy task for any moderator to take action against abusers of the rules.

By opening up to all comers without needing permission, it will greatly aid in helping that section to get off the ground, and thereby give the adults who wish to have a civil discussion a place to seek refuge from the ridiculous antics of the rabble.

I wish to have the moderators nad staff to consider this as an apolitical request which will benefit all sides of the political spectrum. Let's get together and make it happen!

There's a reason no one posts in APP. Maybe be here for more than a month and then make your suggestions.

Interesting how this profile was created days after the 2018 election, on 11/13/18...almost as if someone was so embarrassed by everything they wrote leading up to the election, that they ditched the old ID to start over.

It's really bizarre that this "both siderist" profile expressing some kind of non-partisan viewpoint (claiming to be from Canada so the perspective can be perceived as neutral) that happens to coincidentally use almost exclusively superficial talking points with a Conservative tilt, was created literally a week after the 2018 election....

HMMMMMM.......

So there we are, just about what was expected from the Usual culprits. Let them howl out their fear of reforming the forum to the wind!

In any case, causing the issue to be visible on the forum is within the rules and can't be ignored! The request can be refused but it begs an excuse why.

The time has come for me to push the envelope staff.

When Trump falls, we will have an identity crisis here! LOL!

Monty here is obviously a Conservative poster who is pretending to be a Canadian, that way the viewpoint expressed can appear non-partisan as it coincidentally finds itself in almost near-unanimous agreement with Conservative positions and beliefs.

Also, it was created literally 1 week after Conservatives got their asses handed to them in the election.

OK, since you apparently need to learn the hard way....I'll request permission to go post there again and then I'll demonstrate the fatal flaw with APP. Would that make you happy? You think APP fosters civil debate, it does the opposite.

Heheh! You're suggesting I'm not a Canadian? Give it your best shot but be prepared to stand your ground.

I'm suggesting you're a Conservative who is pretending to be something else so you can escape accountability for being abso-fucking-lutely wrong about the election.

You're a faker.

You're trying to re-brand/re-position yourself after going all-in with Conservatism leading up to the election.

It's your lifeboat attempt.

Problem is, the lifeboat's been set ablaze.

You're off-topic here but if you want to start a new thread to promote your idea of me being too conservative then please do so. I promise to answer you there!

Imagine being so insecure you have to create a new ID on an anonymous message board because of all the shit you had to eat for being wrong about everything leading up to the election.

I think APP is where the Dweebs go so they can pontificate without being challenged.

O.k., you've made it down to the level of guille now. You'll be punished accordingly by being ignored by me. Now let me know how much you care!
