My argument for doing so is to say that we already have the forum's worst abusers of decency posting there now. None have apparently been refused posting privileges on that section and now should be. The rules are suitable strict enough to make it an easy task for any moderator to take action against abusers of the rules.

By opening up to all comers without needing permission, it will greatly aid in helping that section to get off the ground, and thereby give the adults who wish to have a civil discussion a place to seek refuge from the ridiculous antics of the rabble.

I wish to have the moderators nad staff to consider this as an apolitical request which will benefit all sides of the political spectrum. Let's get together and make it happen!

Don't pretend to be talking to me when you're talking to somebody else with the purpose of trolling. You're still among the privileged few I'll pay attention to Jack, but you can change that in a heartbeat.

We all come here to engage with each other. The more people you 'Ignore' or 'ban', only limits yourself as to how much social interaction you avail yourself too.
You can easily Ignore/ban 90% of the Participants here and find yourself in an echo chamber. Is that what you come to JPP for?

I won't but I could ignore 90% of the posters on this forum and do very well for replies to my posts. And I've only banned USFREEDOOM from any of my threads and that was because he was just too disruptive.

In an ideal world I could limit my posting to the APP section only, and that may happen. I think the moderator team wouldn't be very happy to see that section of the forum succeed. What an award of power it would be handing me! What a slap in the face for the lowlife!

Good question, even though it's off topic for us. But I think the rightists are there with a great deal of resentment and intent to spam it and kill it. Bluedream has posted there but chose to post on a thread which I've been banned from answering.
