something i'm sure you're not aware of..........but every marine qualifies with a rifle (AR-15) at a distance of 500 yards.....and that's with plain iron sights. 600 yards with a scope is not going to be much of an issue.............just saying

One thing that defines an assault rifle is select-fire, which an American needs a class III license to own. Another is rifle-type bullets, which cuts out a lot of submachine guns.
