The Awesomeness that is Gore

I know. Think of the lives that would have been saved. I can say with 99.9% certainty that we wouldn't be in Iraq: thousands of soldiers wouldn't have been killed there, tens of thousands wouldn't be injured physically and mentally, we'd have billions to redirect toward social programs like getting children healthcare coverage, the people of Iraq would have a stabilized country and it wouldn't be filled with Al Queda.

Who knows......maybe when he got a report entitled "'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States" he would acted on it. But that's just a wild guess.......I've been trained to think 9/11 was inevitable.

Had Al Gore been President he might be dead by now and Joe Lieberman would be the president.

Oh no, the Mossad would never do that !!

Sure

It's quite possible that Lieberman would have been as bad, if not worse than George Bush. They both dance to the same puppetmasters.

Had Lieberman been the president Iran would have been attacked already.

Nothing about Lieberman is a surprise, which begs the question of what in the hell was Gore thinking when he chose him as his running mate? A great many people held their noses to vote for Gore with Lieberman on the ticket and many others voted 3rd party because Lieberman was on the ticket.

Choosing Lieberman as his running mate by itself should prevent Gore from ever running for president ever again.

Then when the neocons stole Florida right in front of America's face, Gore rolled over like a pussy cat and didn't fight for the election.

I believe he's doing a good job right where he is, making documentaries and playing the role of statesman.

I'm willing to forgive Gore for not predicting who much of a war apologist Lieberman has turned into.

Will Al Gore add a Nobel Peace Prize to his Oscar and Emmy honors?

Talk about a great life. V-president, he won the US presidential election of 2000, Ocsar, emmy and now possibly a nobel peace prize?

I still fondly recall Bush-voters roaring with laughter in 2001, that Gore was destined to be a mere footnote in history...that he was a beaten man, who would fade from memory and history.

lol

Gore is probably the most widely respected Vice President in modern American History - and has done more with his post-White House career than even most Presidents.

He didn't just turn into not only a war apologist, he's always been a war hawk, and everyone KNEW he dances to whatever tune Israel is playing .. which is why there was so much opposition to his selection.

Liberman is now, and always has been, loved by the neocons .. in fact, he's one of them.

Gore should never be forgiven for this or his rollover in Florida.

And NO, he did not win the election in 2000.

Gore seized upon the global warming issue .. and cudos to him for doing so .. but personally, I have more respect for what Jimmy Carter has done since he left office.

I seem to recall Gore fighting the results. One of the biggest problems came from within the democratic party asking him to concede.

The awesomeness continues:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21231563/

WASHINGTON - With talk of a Nobel Peace Prize in the air and election deadlines looming, supporters of Al Gore have been raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for petition drives and advertising campaigns in a last-ditch effort to draft him into the Democratic presidential primaries.

Give it to me straight up Darla: Do you think he will run?

And, hey where do I sign that thing?

I don't know. I"m too emotionally invested in it to be able to say, it'd be wishful thinking. If he doesn't, looking at recent polls in the primary states, we might have to resign ourselves to Hillary

Unless...Rudy beats her, in which case, I really want to get out of here. seriously.

Honestly depending on the Repub candidate, I hope Hillary goes down in the general if she is the nominee. The only comfort in a Hillary presidency would be knowing that she was not ideologically opposite me because she doesn't actually believe in anything.
