What's to "believe in"? It's a book. I've read it cover to cover a couple of times; have you? (Well, I did skip that chapter in the OT with all the begats in it... boring.) It has a lot of wisdom, interesting history and stories, poetry, great (and not so great) characters, and the Golden Rule.
