"Weaponized the DOJ" is one of the top paranoid right-wing conspiracy theories. It's just something people say. It has no basis in reality. The DOJ is pursuing Trump because Trump doesn't care about the rule of law & has conducted his life that way.

How in the world did he "put Ukraine ahead of the American people?" That's ridiculous. It's not a choice of one or the other.

Did you see that jobs report today? Our employment situation is unreal, and the market has been breaking records. It is getting hard - and comical - for Republicans to try to talk down this economy. It's a great economy.

Neanwhile Trump was touting Orban as a great model for America. A strong man ,a dictator, what America needs. If the intel is correct, Putin is not done. If he continues, we will eventually have to get in. Think what that will cost in treasure and lives. Sorry, thinking is not your strong suit. Biden is a typical American president who honors the system and works within it. Trump does whatever he feels like.

What the next election will show is that a plurality, if not the majority, of voters will do just as they have in the last two elections involving Trump. Trump will be rejected in favor of the other candidate. The first, by three million or so. The last by 7 million or so. Could even be higher this time.

So, yeah. The “average American”, whatever that is, will reject Trump soundly. Will they vote for Biden? I don’t know that. They will if they have the interests of this country at stake.

I could begin with he started off his speech with that and then launched into a diatribe that sounded like some hard Rightwing anti-commie nutter at the height of the Cold War about what a threat Russia is. Barely a word on the invasion on our Southern border. Nary a comment on crime, homelessness, the failure of public education, etc. He doesn't give a shit about the American people, just the Left and his reelection.

Yea, sure... That's why 3 out of 4 people are saying the economy sucks. Given how the U3 works, it's more about people being forced to take second jobs than about full employment since the labor utilization rate is at the lowest point its been in more than half-a-century. That is, more people aren't working. A good chunk have stopped looking or have just gone on welfare because it pays better. Those that do work are having to work more to make ends meet.
