This is demonstrably false. Canada wasn't enforcing their border to the extent required by the US, and hadn't implemented a $1.3 billion border bill. Canada hadn't appointed a "Fentanyl Czar". Canada had not created a Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to “combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering". Canada had not signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl backed by $200 million. And furthermore, Canada agreed to drop its proposed retaliatory tariffs, which were set to go in effect immediately. So, to claim Canada is merely continuing what it was already doing is not only inaccurate, it's dishonest in the extreme. You are either utterly and completely uninformed, or just a straight up liar. Which is it? It can't be both.
And on Mexico, they had not agreed to place 10,000 troops on the border, and they were prepared to also place retaliatory tariffs in place. The left only makes themselves look like the petulant fools they are by attempting to paint this as a nothing burger. You people are truly incredible. You might as well get used to losing, because you haven't learned a thing.
