You weren't talking about the 'soiled diapers' phrase until now. But...a bit of history, since you seem to be unaware...

It was Joe Capitalist that first used this phrase, over and over, several iterations of EV worship threads he created ago. Since then, the phrase has been turned against him by people showing why his EV worship has problems.
In particular, the EV worship that Joe Capitalist continues to push is based on heavy subsidies and mandates to sell EVs. He is completely oblivious to the EVs stacking up in manufactures lots because they aren't selling.

Instead, he just changes his "EV's are GREAT and everyone should have one and gasoline cars are going away", because he thinks the heavy subsidies (communism) and mandates (fascism) are justified.

So if you want to complain about the "soiled diapers", phrase, look to Joe. He created it. Others just make fun of it.

Now, concerning the car discussed in Motor Trend:
Yes, it's a hybrid car. Joe called it an electric car (it's not) and started pushing his battery EV nonsense again. So again, you can blame Joe for this one too.
