The clear message in the United States’ shifting demographics

you are wrong.....I implied no such thing......I said that an increase in income automatically means a rise in Republicans......go play your race baiting games somewhere that people are stupid enough to believe you......

Havana replied to the OP, which was stating the fact that there is a rise in minority demographics, with "who will pay for the welfare then?" When I simply pointed out he seems to be implying that a rise in minorities means less people paying taxes (more so to allow him to elaborate than to accuse), you responded with "he's talking about 'demmycrats'." Why would you say that in a thread about minorities if you weren't assuming that there's a correlation between this rise in minorities with a rise in Democrats? This is actually a very false correlation I see all the time, which is why I wanted to point it out to correct it. Because, actually, that sort of thinking harms your party.

I said it in a thread "about minorities" to point out you were wrong about it being minorities.......its all demmycrats......now since you are only arguing against that which you assume is implied instead of what anyone has said, please fuck off.....your sort of thinking harms society in general......

We need to do away with free birth control, have paid maternity care, and require employers to give white folks a baby bonus....at least that is what it appears guno is trying to say.

He just does'nt want his baby mommas to lose their welfare money ..... Then he will have to fork it over .

In the context of the OP, his argument clearly seemed to be based off the assumption that a rise in minorities automatically means a rise in Democrats, thus apparently a rise in welfare. Both very false correlations.

Nice try, but my response to you was initiated by yours about post 9, not the OP. I see that PMP is taking you to task on it...

Within our lifetime, the United States will be a majority minority country, no matter how loudly the MAGA crowd shouts.

As the nation grows older, it’s also becoming more racially and ethnically diverse. “Nationally, the population of all race and ethnic groups, except for the non-Hispanic white alone group, grew between July 1, 2016, and July 1, 2017,” the Census statement said.

There are some other interesting Census Bureau projections.

The House will be increasingly Democratic and the Senate increasingly Republican

By about 2040 50% of the population will be in 8 states and 70% of the population will be in 15 states

30% of the population will choose 70 senators

By 2060 68% of the population will be white (including Hispanics)

Today there are 49.2 million over 65 and 73.6 million under 18; by 2060 there will be 94.7 million over 65 and 79.8 million under 18; over 65 adults will surpass under 18 in 2035

This will be true assuming current voting patterns remain the same. But, based on American history, voting coalitions change as new issues and generations come along.

Until recently white working class voted heavily Democratic, now they vote Republican

Blacks were loyal Republicans until 1934, now they are loyal Democrats

The South was one-party Democratic and is now one-party Republican

Formerly, the higher the educational level the higher percent voted Republican; that is still true today except those with college degrees are about evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans

the fact that educated people tended to vote for Clinton and less educated people tended to vote for trump says you are wrong

You are wrong. The groups with the lowest education level are Hispanics and blacks who voted strongly Democratic. College graduates were fairly closely divided with Hillary winning the vote of all college graduates and Trump winning white college graduates. Trump won the vote among those without a college degree but not those with the lowest educational levels.

I did no such thing......almost everyone who reaches the point that they have to actually pay taxes instead if getting an EIC check becomes a Republican.......guano is the idiot that thinks it hinges on race.....I am the ridiculing him for his reductionism........

You actually wrote that? damn,. Bigotry alive and well.
