Is it possible to see meaningful value in the teachings of the New Testament, even if viewing it as allegorical rather than literal,
and still saying "What the fuck?" at the behavior of so many evangelical Christians?

I think that it very well may be.

My observation of JPP over the past year says the answer is "Yes" but that the caller must be a Democrat and/or an African-American.
It's verboten for a "white, Christian, Republican male" to do so because then it would be "racist". :)

I totally get the testosterone fueled appeal of military style assault rifles. I like guns.

They look bad ass, and the little boy in me finds them very appealing.

I personally like the fact that since I trained and used an M16 for 6 years, i'm just more comfortable with an AR than any other weapon except my Glock........but that probably doesn't work for you either

I find the AR15 design a damn fine design. It has so many applications and configurations and is easy to maintain. It's easy to shoot, it's kickback is quite minimal, and is a pretty rugged design.

Personally, I find the men using the whole 'penis extender' as an insult fit in to one of two categories.....they are those who are ashamed of their own lack of masculinity in their fears of carrying/owning guns, or they are ashamed of their own lack of manhood, so they insult others to boost their own self esteem. the women using it are usually dissatisfied with their partners own penis size, so in their anger or lack of sexual satisfaction, lash out at other men.

I know, it's psychobabble, but most likely true

I've shot my cousin's AR-15 a few times... It's pretty nice. Very minimal kickback. He's pretty big into guns, and wants to do concealed carry and everything. I'm not much of a gun person myself (nor do I wish to do concealed carry), but I am quite naturally proficient at shooting them, using a .22 rifle to kill outdoor pests from time to time.

You obviously gave up all hope of actually citing something I have written which rises to the level of perverted sexual depravity. Meanwhile, you routinely scroll past genuine perverted sexual depravity written by others without stopping to make a comment.
