Examples:

Medical schools' admission standards, in Louisiana at least, have been going down for at least a decade. The avg. GPA for incoming freshmen at LSU medical school is now below LSU Dental School and far far below LSU Veterinarian School (by far the hardest). I suspect it's still very difficult for white and Asian students that aren't "legacies", i.e., have connections.

Yes but this COVID thing has brought out how little the federal government has control over local governments. I’m in Louisiana at the moment and in Livingston Parish, e.g., no one ever wore masks ever. Business as usual. Orleans Parish was locked down.
Same in Alaska. Anchorage- lockdown. MatSu Valley- business as usual all of 2020.
Same with illegal immigrants. In rural areas they’ll be hard working slave laborers with families. In cities they’ll control drug cartels. Life is good . (As long as I don’t live in a city.)

I was in Louisiana about a month ago. Mostly Metairie and N.O. Run down dirty urban shithole. I can only see going back for a family funeral.

My sister is a retired teacher who briefly tried getting back into it. Taught eighth grade at the same middle school we attended. It was all white when we went there.
Now it’s about a third black, third Hispanic, third white, according to my sister.
One black kid accused her of beating him and the principal threatened to make a police report even though other students in the class said the accusation was bogus.
She had another black student who never turned in homework for a grade, rarely came to class and consistently made the lowest grade in the class on tests. Naturally my sister flunked him and she was called into the principal’s office to be reprimanded. The principal ,who was black, accused her of racism.
She didn’t even bother to show up for work the next day.
And this in the suburbs, not the shithole of N.O.

Such is the state of public schools in Louisiana.
