The Curse of Poverty

And downside of it is the future of all americans traded away so the baby boomers could feel good about being globalist idiots who "love the world". They are traitors.

AssHat, if some form of equality is not forthcoming there will continue to be wars and now the weapons are just too powerful. We need a different approach.

You just a want a permanent war on all poor people around the globe, including the americans you push into poverty. We will always have rule by force. Don't get distracted by phony propaganda frames.

Having separate nations is not the cause of war, war is caused by lust for power, and greed, all of which globalization will enhance, and foment.

Why would globalization result in one fighting against themselves? You're not making sense.

That's not how I see it.

Regarding UI the government makes the rules but if businesses, being contributors to UI, don't like the rules they won't vote for that government again. The rules were to appease business, not to keep people in poverty.
One problem with your reasoning here: BUSINESS does not vote. PEOPLE vote and it is the PEOPLE who are trapped into depending on government assistance. As I have said, it simply can NOT be by accident that almost every government assistance program has the exact same design which punishes people for trying to better themselves. The only consistent exceptions are education assistance programs.

Just look at the way people regard anyone on government assistance. Or better yet, look at how people feel about paying taxes towards helping them.
Try asking people on assistance how they feel about themselves. Ask them how they feel when working that extra shift for an extra $100 ends up putting them back over $200 in their total budget because of the ridiculous regulations. MOST people want to make their own way. A system that does not allow them to is a large part of the despondency we see in people who are long time recipients.

It's human nature to want to improve ones life, to have "extras". Either people have physical/mental/drug problems or they hit a stroke of bad luck. Normal, healthy people do not want to suffer and that's the life on government assistance.
Yet millions of normal healthy people DO, because they have the option of that extra $100 in wages, or $200 in assistance. They do not want to suffer (more than they already do), so which do they choose?

The solution is not to stop the assistance. The solution is to find the problem and fix it.
Not once have I said we should stop assistance. I have specifically said I have no problems at all with helping those in need. But YES, there are SERIOUS problems in the way current government assistance programs are designed, and we desperately need to fix those problems.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Do you really think no white people grow up poor?

Yeah Im white and a woman.

Why is it you think I was not raised poor?

I am sixth out of eight kids of a construction worker, grew up all over socal moving every year.

You dont own your "I was the one who made it out" crown as king.

Why do you think I came out of my poverty (every one of my bros and sis's made it too) with such a respect for poor people and you see them as leaches to be scorned?

I think it may have something to do with that self hate element I mentioned earlier.

Find a little kindness in your heart for the kids now following the poverty path you had to live would you?
Riiight: daughter of a white construction worker. Moving all over. POOR wittoo ootsums. Moving around indicates your daddy had work, or he wouldn't have been moving, would he? How many times did YOU go without a meal in your belly because the larder was empty?

Typical entitlist bitch thinking because you didn't run around in Mercedes Benz you were poor. As I first stated, very few of you people actually know what REAL poverty is. It sure as hell is not where we draw the so-called poverty line.

Not to mention the typical white liberal, SO sympathetic to the problems of minorities. You haven't a fucking CLUE, and the fucking LIES you spew, playing the race card constantly, just shows that racism is alive and well, and living in modern liberalism.

It's the right idea but not the perfect model.

then what model is perfect? do we go for constitutional rights or positivity? do 'we the people' of the entire world create the one world government, or do we let supposedly superior intellectuals who are already government leaders create our new world government?

Who's goals?

it's simply an unavoidable sideeffect of reality.....what are you going to do, prevent a Chinese man from working?......tell a Sudanese he can't take a job to feed his children?.....if a man in Haiti can earn a living making something, he's going to go make it....

I explained that to you and even gave an example. Go back and read my post.

I agree, however, denying assistance is not the answer. Changing the rules to allow people to supplement their assistance is the answer. Again, however, there are people who are against that. That is the compromise between people who want to help and those who don’t want to help.

Not once have I said we should stop assistance. I have specifically said I have no problems at all with helping those in need. But YES, there are SERIOUS problems in the way current government assistance programs are designed, and we desperately need to fix those problems.

Agreed. But like every other government program there are people fighting against it. Here’s a good example of what I mean. Check this out. http://www.mmafighting.com/2011/01/...of-attention-after-obama-comment?ncid=webmail

The part between 3:00 and 4:00 minutes. "I'm starting my own business and it's not real easy when giving insurance companies the power to decline you and not pay you."

That's the guy’s concern over the health plan. It’s difficult for him and his business. Check out the video.

The people who we vote for will represent us on the world stage.

that only answers part of the question. please expand

People vote for a Mayor. They vote for their district. They vote for their regional government (State, Province). They vote for their country leader (President or Prime Minister). Their country leader then votes along with other country leaders on global concerns.

Pretty much nailed Desh to a T. You could use the term guilty white liberal to describe her.

what about rights of the people? where will they come from?

It's not an unavoidable side effect of reality. That's just an unsubstantiated statement. And it's false.

They can work, but we dont have to buy their goods. We can value keeping americans employed. They're still free to do what they want.

Why would globalization result in one fighting against themselves? You're not making sense.

It's those who benefit from globalization versus those who's lives are destroyed by it. It makes total sense. It's all the workers put out of work by incentivizing chinese tyranny versus managers and corporations who made the decision that globalization was a good idea.

it's rich versus poor. The elites versus the rest of society, just like always.

But the democracy is broken. Money has become too central, and those who control the money control the officials.

Globalization is an erosion of morality. It teaches people to become slave drivers who feel nothing for their fellow citizens, and act only in the interest of their master, who tells them its enlightened to destroy the lives of those around them.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

How was it I knew you were going to play the "I was poorer than you " game.

Only YOU know about being poor huh?

Then why do you hate poor people so much if its some great badge of courage to you to be the poorest guy EVER?

Why do you talk about them as if they are dead weight to this country and do nothing but suck off of everyone else?

You talk about sympathy as if it were some affliction.

Heres an thought for you, if you read my post you would realise I talked of all children of all colors.

BUUUUTTTTT NOOOOOOOOOO

you only wanted to see hate in it because hate is all you know.
