Yowtch. If they have the evidence a conviction on the charges will be as real as if it happened under a Braindead-led DOJ going after his political opponent.
When has trump or any of his sycophantic minions ever needed evidence to go after someone on his extensive enemies list?

Ask James Comey.

Like all the rest of the crap this fully compromised DOJ is doing it will amount to nothing.

There is a reason these agencies are supposed to be independent, you know.

That's a mighty big "IF" my friend.

It's much more likely this will get laughed out before trial just like the rest of the politically motivated crap Blondi is trying to pull.

Bullshit; this isn't in DC/NYC;the judge and jury won't be so easy to buyoff like in DC and/or NY.

Actually, yes and no. She will retain her seat until impeached and removed from office or voted out in an election. As for voting from prison, you have to be in person on the House floor to vote.
There was a federal Judge (Alcee Hastings) that was indicted for taking bribes he IIRC and then he was impeached and removed from the bench then he ran for Congress and served in Congress.

He might be the one that went to prison but hadn't been impeached so the federal courts had to send a senior judge to that prison to overrule his issuing inmates pardons, commutations of sentence, that sort of thing, for commissary and such until the fucker was impeached and tossed off the bench.
