Maybe some of it stems from guilt over what industrialized whites did to slaves. You know that stress got handed down from generation to generation.

The baby boomers will solve themselves. they are passing away now and more and more will hit the dirt. Then in a few years, this huge problem is gone. It is temporary. We cannot change the whole system to accommodate them. If we do, then huge bureaus will have to be dismantled.

Huge bureaus will be built and dismantled anyway. It is inevitable.

They serve the people. 'The people' currently includes a huge number of boomers who are surprisingly still breathing. Many are retired, which does afford more time to become informed; and immersed in politics. That includes voting in greater percentages than the young.

You can still be as white as a snowflake. Your whiteness isn't diminished. You can still proudly proclaim how proud you are to be born white.
