In 2020, Massachusetts came out on top and once again, for the year 2021, the Bay State leads the way. Rounding out the top five, in order, are Hawaii, New Jersey, Maryland and New York.

Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kentucky and Alabama, the states ranked #50-46. Coincidentally, another survey released this week by CNBC ranked Mississippi as the worst state for business in the nation.

Mississippi has been Sharecare’s lowest ranked state for three years in a row now. All of the bottom states registered the lowest scores in the domain of community, which measures the extent to which individuals like where they live and have pride in their community.

No surprise the least educated states are the least healthy.
 
I also find it interesting that the cracker denizens of the least healthy states also support the party that opposes universal healthcare.
But then again, they're also the least educated states.

Then, of course, it got worse as they devolved from sketchy, low-level humans to trumpanzees.
 
If I'm reading the article correctly it's a rather misleading headline. When I see healthiest states I'm think physical health of the people that live there. Instead they have include multiple factors including financial. You can have a bunch of money and still be a fat slob. You can be in great shape and not be rich. Kind of a weird article.

Mississippi has a right to housing law, Massachusetts does not. Boston has more homeless per capita than Jackson.
