Yeah, I considered using Réaumur (6.4 degrees in Seattle when it was 281.33K, and of course, 47F) or Rankine (505.8 degrees), because they are even more obscure than Kelvin, but I decided that K is the most kickass even despite all of that. After all, we generally measure the Sun using K.
