The Hunter "attack" is backfiring. Look who just happens to be involved.

More ad hominem. This does nothing to discredit the source(s) or information that has been provided to date.

In fact, a growing number of the e-mails are being confirmed by other sources like the ones that describe setting up a meeting between Burisma management and Biden where the management now confirms those e-mails and Biden's story has changed (officially) from "It never happened..." to "Well, maybe an off-the-record, informal meeting did occur..."

Or one between Chinese government hacks and Biden where White House visitor logs confirm a meeting took place even as Joke Biden denied it happened...
PS: where is the ad hominem in my post? I think you misuse the term. I made no personal attacks in my post.

I’ll wait, the sources I trust say this is a Russian disinformation campaign and Colludy Rudy is the one they duped or he was in on the whole thing.

Not to be rude or contrarian, in the sense of just slamming them for no good reason, I'd say you need to find new sources.

Another example that's already out there...

A number of the released e-mails are between Biden acting as a partner in Blue Star Strategies, Ukrainian government officials and Burisma, along with copies and e-mails going to the State Department. The State Department has released under FOIA requests their copies of these e-mails. These show that Biden orchestrated meetings between State Department officials and Burisma executives (Hunter was also a board member of Burisma at the time). Another company Hunter was part of, Rosemont Seneca was also in on this. Meetings with Kerry (Sec of State) and Joe Biden (VP) appear to have happened. Others at State were very concerned about this whole arrangement and the possibility of collusion / corruption and quid pro quo taking place. You also have Chris Heinz, Kerry's stepson, e-mailing State with concerns about Hunter and his activity. Heinz was a former business partner with Hunter but had gotten out of his circle because of Hunter's activities looking suspicious.

Again, the e-mails on the computer are being confirmed by outside, independent sources. If this pattern continues, it will become one of having to disprove the e-mails rather than prove them--which to date they are being proved valid.

This chain of written documents where there are multiple independent sources is really difficult, if not impossible, to replicate as a fraud. You'd have to believe that everyone of these independent sources was knowingly in on the conspiracy to perpetrate the fraud. Conspiracy theories work best when you have one, or a very small number of people involved. They seemingly have documents or other "proof" of their claims that nobody else seems to have. They then make up reasons for this being the case. That isn't what's happening with the Biden laptop. What you see are outside, independent, sources confirming the details of e-mails as they appear in the news. That's why the Biden campaign has gone dark on this subject along with his supporters in the MSM: They can't refute the e-mails so they choose to ignore the story in hopes it doesn't spread, isn't believed, and goes away.

I’ll wait and see. See, there is more than likely nothing illegal about the Biden’s actions as has detailed in a bipartisan Senate report.

I think this is Russian disinformation.

It is, but at least it gives our despairing Trumpanzee tribe a bit of hope as they gnash their teeth and wail over the prospect of a new president and a blue tsunami.

You wrote:

The case is falling apart and now there’s a second computer How convenient

This attacks the source. It amounts to an ad hominem because it doesn't address the argument with facts, rebuttal, or logic. Instead, it simply attacks the source by mocking it.

We knew there were three computers involved. Originally only one was salvageable. If a second was salvaged okay... But to claim that the case is "falling apart" and that this is somehow a "convenient (excuse)" to keep it going is to insult the source (the computers). It doesn't address if the e-mails on them are valid or not and that there is or isn't a second computer is irrelevant to that unless you can show that the two computers have serious differences in content or that e-mails on one don't match up with the other where they should be identical.

That's fine. I also think that anyone thinking this is the Russian's doing is really going down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole.

Thus far, the Fox’s News division has only been able to verify one email from the tranche leaked.

I went and checked out your email story. Seems you have a tendency to exaggerate, because Fox and I repeat Fox, has only been able to verify one email.

But according to two sources familiar with the matter, the lack of authentication of Hunter Biden’s alleged laptop, combined with established concerns about Giuliani as a reliable source and his desire for unvetted publication, led the network’s news division to pass. Fox News declined to comment on this story.

Hardly. But there are no sources generally considered non-Conservative reporting this story at all. They aren't denying it, they aren't confirming it. They are ignoring it.

Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden flatly denied at Tuesday night’s debate that his lawyer son took huge sums of money from corrupt oligarchs and Chinese communists during his vice presidency, but Treasury Department reports show that Hunter Biden did receive the money.

Finally, U.S. Senators are waking up to the possibility that 2020 Democratic contender Joe Biden may have knowingly permitted his son Hunter to “sell” access to the U.S. State Department while Joe was serving as Vice President. The line between crony capitalism and outright corruption is a thin one, but when it comes to assessing the legitimacy of Trump’s interest in ending Ukrainian corruption, it’s worth determining the veracity of corruption allegations, of which Hunter Biden represents a not insignificant part.

Snope's position on this is essentially We're not sure. It looks bad, and looks real, but we can't confirm all of the details... yet.

I find it highly unusual that NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, HLN, and the rest are not even reporting the story one way or the other. It's as if it doesn't exist on their networks and sites. That's definitely very odd.

They aren’t reporting it because they know it isn’t credible. You know it stinks when Fox won’t touch it.

As a lifelong democrat I refuse to vote for Hunter Biden.

While it is sad he lost his mother at such a young age, and seems to have suffered long term, that is not excuse to vote for the kid.

So funny. So stupid and funny.

Well, it is funny and thank you for supplying the "stupid" component.
