The inevitable Biden tax increase

How awful that must've been for you.

oh we had lots of arguments about politics.......that's why I knew she always believed Carter was the best president we ever had because he taught Sunday School and sold grain to the Russians........I'm sure she would have hated Trump because he was divorced and raised tariffs so the Chinese bought less soybeans.......

But there so many other legitimate reasons to hate Trump.

Like....

He was/is the biggest and most shameless liar in the history of the Presidency and probably US politics in general.

He was/is utterly and completely unqualified to hold any elected office whatsoever.

He was/is morally bankrupt.

He was/is only interested in what benefits himself, over and above anyone and everyone else including the American public.

He was/is a sleazy scumbag.

He was/is intellectually weak.

He was/is an obnoxious blowhard who is only capable of responding to criticism by hurling insults.

He was/is given to throwing temper tantrums when things don't go the way he wants them to.

I'm sure there are a few more items that could be added to the list, but for right now, this will do for a start.

The government deposited $1400 in my checking account which I don’t really need. It was my little slice of the pie for...I don’t know why exactly.

So many of these young people on my social media already have theirs spent lol. It’ll be gone in a week in many instances. If they’re smart, they’ll bank it and forget about it. Save it for the rainy days that are almost certain to come, in the form of high pump prices, inflation and tax increases.

For the people who are months behind on their rent, they’ll take the $1400 but it’s not going to change their circumstances. Same ditto for small business owners who went under during Fauci’s reign over the economy.

For democrats in Congress, if they think their voters are going to still remember their $1400 windfall in 2022—they’re probably in for a rude awakening. Their voters will be clamoring for another windfall by then.

We absolutely must raise taxes on the wealthy, to bring it back inline with the days when our deficit and wealth gap was more reasonable.

When did "taxes on the wealthy" do that?

As recently as 2000.

We had a budget surplus in 2000 that could have paid off the debt by 2010 if no changes were made to the tax code.

But you made changes to the tax code in 2001 because "surpluses mean we're overtaxed", and then by 2002, the $236B surplus was turned into a $157B deficit that was then followed by four record deficits in 6 years including the largest deficit of all time until Trump.

So instead of paying off the debt by 2010, your tax cuts doubled the debt by 2009.

The economy grew after the Trump tax and regulatory cuts. I think its cute that you blame Trump for signing the Democrats spending plans.

The economy was growing long before daffy got into office. The tax cut was just not enough to derail it. Tax cuts to the wealthy do not spur the economy.

Make it and I will.

I'm giving you a chance to make your point again, and for some reason you're choking.

Is it because you're afraid of what I'm going to do to it?

No need to repeat myself, since you can go back and re-read my posts.

I did and when I did so, I saw several posters respond to your point...and then I saw you ignore those responses and search for a red herring to avoid accountability like a little bitch.

So you're lying on this thread because lying is the only thing you know how to do.

The rich pay nearly all the taxes

Right but pay a lower effective rate than they did before.

so any across-the-board tax cut will benefit them the most.

You mean like the 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act?

hey then use that money to invest in their businesses and create jobs...

No they don't.

A Decline in Capital Investment Reveals the False Promise of Drumpf’s Tax Bill
In the second half of last year, the growth in business investment fell sharply, and the slowdown has continued into 2019. During the second quarter of this year, according to last week’s G.D.P. report from the Commerce Department, it turned negative.

Trump created fewer jobs in his first three years than Obama did in his last three.

RIGHT RIGHT AND DOUBLE RIGHT. Ignorance does not make you right. I suppose I could show the economic charts for the last 20 years. But you are a righty living beyond facts and real data.

They're so fucking lazy that they don't even make argument anymore.

Your post is total irony.
