The IRS Is Aggressively Auditing

the government is a bunch of wall street connected con artists that have idiots like YOU brainwashed in to believing that they represent you and your interests.

No one's brainwashed, idiot. Our government's simply been bought right out from under us. There's a remedy for that, though. Betcha can't guess what it is (hint: it doesn't involve guns).

If the gov doesn't represent the people in a democracy it's because it has been corrupted. What the right has been led to believe by constant bombardment of lies and disinformation is that the government is the enemy. Odd thinking for a democratic country. They think if they kill the government everything will get better but what we get is a severe depression and trillions in off shore accounts. There is much more of course but what's the point.

I don't care. I didn't care when other people waited, and I still won't care when candidates for that office only release a year or two in the future. You can clearly see enough in one or two years worth to play "gotcha" for a lifetime.

I'd rather have information salient to making a good choice on who to hire for the job of President. College records, writings, etc. Things you would ask for when interviewing a new prospect for hire. Nobody has ever asked me for tax forms in such a situation.

So wanting to know that the head of the government isn't a tax evader is not a reasonable question to ask?

Since when did privacy have anything to do with running for President? Hell, Obama's been president for almost a full term, and you idiots are still screaming for a birth certificate from him! Even though he already released it!

Romney wants to be President. He wants to show us he's a good businessman. So why is he hiding all the records, from Bain to the Olympics to his governorship, that prove what an outstanding businessman he is?

You saw this post, why didn't you reply?

What Is Mitt Hiding?

If he's not hiding anything, why not release his tax returns?

Your post was not about Mitt, it specifically directed another poster to release tax documents. I simply pointed out that if you think it is safe then it would behoove you to do it yourself first and provide the shining example for others to follow.

And my post was about the tax returns. The reality is nobody needs 16 or even 7 years to answer the questions you supposedly want answered. One or two years is more than enough, and IMO unnecessary. I noted that none of us will have ever been asked to provide this information publicly for any job we apply for... I get no valuable information from Obama's tax return. I don't need that information to make a decision on who has a better policy and/or solutions.

Your question requires the definition of "should". I thought you would have figured that out from my answer but apparently not. Soooo, define "should", as it pertains to who's in charge, what's moral and what's ethical.

OK, I"ll make it so simple that even you can understand it.
If the "audit" shows that each year looked at, shows no illegality, are you then going to shut the fuck up?
