The Latest Benghazi Hoax

So much righteous indignation here. Cons must have been saving it up from all the previous embassy attacks they never mention.

Well, that makes everything about Benghazi ok....is that what you're trying to say ?

I really fail to see the point of your post....did someone imply we've not been attacked in the past...

Obama and H. Clinton aren't responsible for the attack, they ARE RESPONSIBLE for the response or lack of response to an ongoing attack in which no
real effort was made to aid those under attack.

You're not seriously saying other embassy attacks don't matter if Americans weren't killed?

And what I think of Benghazi is that it's a tragedy that cons are trying to make into a political time bomb, just in case Hillary decides to run for prez.

I just lost a long reply I researched and posted and am not going to try and recreate it. So, short and sweet, every claim here made by FrontpageMag can be debunked. Here's just one:

Update: After some discussions with Amazon and the State Department, we've learned the price tag on the Kindle contract is not as cut and dry as we first reported. The contract authorizes the State Department to pay Amazon up to $16.5 million over five years for an English-language teaching program and the 2,500 Kindles cited in the procurement documents has been described to us as merely the initial order. We do not know the maximum amount of Kindles the State Department can purchase in their deal with Amazon. Still, it's clear that our $6,600-per-Kindle calculation is not accurate. Previously: we reached out to the State Department's Philippe Reines, who emailed to say that the department was getting the actual Kindle devices for 10 percent off retail price. The rest of the cost goes to cover the service and content-providing agreements in the department's four-year contract with Amazon.

Fortunately for you I'm too annoyed to do all that work again so count your blessings that you missed a big can of whoopass opened up on you.

You seriously think is a can of whoop-ass....???? $16,500,000 could have purchased 60,000+ Kindles at retail price...not a mere 2500.

Service and content ?....wtf does that even mean ?....Easy Learning English Language for Junior High School......$9.99

And without those pesky details, 2500 x $6,600 = 16.5 million dollars.

Nice try Sweetie.....though hardly 'whoop-ass' caliber....

Read the contract and get back to me. FrontPage just omitted a lot of detail in order to spread lies, particularly details 4, 5 and 6. How much do you think it costs to provide 3G services globally?

No....thats what you're saying....that other terrorism in other countrys somehow make the Benghazi just one of those things.....
Do they matter.....everything matters to some degree....how extensive the damage matters...to some degree....

A car bomb or a grenade thrown, or arson or car bomb are no even close to the attack in Benghazi....

Benghazi was a prolonged attack over at least 8 or 9 hours.......Obama and State Dept. were aware of the attack from the minute it
started....they had ample time to send help during that 8 or 9 hours and made no attempt to do that.....assets were floating around the Med. in the form
of a fully equipped aircraft carrier and bases were a few miles away across the Med. Sea in various US bases....

It revealed their mindset in post 5....from their own testimony....and it sucked....it smacked of cowardice saying it was too dangerous....well no shit Charlie Brown...
of course its was dangerous....thats wtf the military does....face danger.

My older Kindle costs me nothing to contact Amazon and buy a book....totally free...3G service
my new Kindle uses my Wi-Fi at home and its totally free on the road at hotels, etc.....
Private On-line repository for any and every book I buy is also free provided by Amazon, or better yet, just store the books on the Kindle, it holds hundreds, if not thousands

All in all, you're full of crap and grasping at straws.......you talk about 3G services and in your post it specifically states that The Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with 3G services globally....to me that means the 16.5 million paid to Amaxon has nothing to do with providing global service.......

Is it true that the State Department (Hillary Clinton, proprietor) denied the guards firearms?

Untrue. Security requests focused on Tripoli.

"...embassy security officers warned their superiors at the State Department of a worsening threat from Islamic extremists, and requested that the teams of military personnel and State Department security guards who were already on duty be kept in service.

The requests were denied, but they were largely focused on extending the tours of security guards at the American Embassy in Tripoli — not at the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, 400 miles away. And State Department officials testified this week during a hearing by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that extending the tour of additional guards — a 16-member military security team — through mid-September would not have changed the bloody outcome because they were based in Tripoli, not Benghazi."

Apparently you don't know how to read a contract. They are buying equipment and services. Services don't come free.

Did they?

Morgan Jones, the pseudonym used by the security man hired to train guards at the embassy, tells his story for the first time...

He calls himself Morgan Jones, a pseudonym to protect his safety. Jones says he was annoyed that the State Department wouldn't allow his guards to carry guns. As the attack began last year, on Sept. 11, one of the guards called Jones who was living nearby.

Morgan Jones: I could hear gunshots. And I-- and he said, "There's-- there's men coming into the mission."

His first thought was about his American friends pinned down inside the compound, and he couldn't believe it when one of the State Department agents answered his phone.

Morgan Jones: I said, "What's goin' on?" He said-- "We're gettin' attacked." And I said, "How many?" And he said, "They're all over the compound." And-- felt shocked, I didn't know what to say. And-- I said, "Well, just keep fightin'. I'm on my way."

Morgan's guards -- unarmed and terrified -- were surrounded by gunmen, but still sounded the alarm.

This is getting ridiculous....

how about a few thousand from each of these stupid expenditures...if money was an issue for Benghazi security ....according to
Charlene Lamb, testifying under oath, there was NO money issues with paying for more security for Benghazi ....so this bullshit about Amazon is a moot point....the fact of the matter is, Hillary lied when she tried to put this shit out for her excuse.

7.9 billion dollars for Obama’s Global Health Initiative.

1 billion for global climate change.

2.2 billion to strengthen democratic institutions in Pakistan.

And of course… Mosque renovations.

In 2011 the State Department provided funds to restore the 15th century Gobarau Minaret in Katsina State in Nigeria’s predominantly Muslim north, an area which has become a virtual killing field for Christians at the hands of Muslim militants, led by the al-Qaeda-linked terror group Boko Haram.

And $4.5 million for Art in Embassies

The New York Times reported in 2009 that Art in Embassies spends about $4.5 million a year for permanent art acquisitions; chief curator Virginia Shore said at the time that artists and dealers support the program via favorable pricing; for the embassy in Beijing, an outlay of $800,000 yielded works with an appraised value of $30 million.

How much Benghazi security would 800,000 dollars have bought? If Hillary Clinton had stopped buying paintings, maybe four Americans would still be alive today.

All this came from a letter the CFR sent to Paul Ryan about estimated expenses in the budget. Can you prove that the money was actually spent on these things? http://www.foreignpolicy.com/files/fp_uploaded_documents/HCFA2012.pdf

No good link for this, just the same couple of sentences making the rounds of different RW websites.

Art in Embassies was established 50 years ago and you're trying to make it a Hillary issue? Lame even for you.
