The left should chill

I think it's laughable that some can't see he has issues with women.

Would you also deny that he's a narcissist? Let's see how far this goes w/ you.

Its hard to tell who you are talking about; BillyBob Clinton? Hell, the biggest narcissist on the planet would be Obama. I am amused that whiney liberals are suddenly concerned with things like narcicissim, arrogance and deficits.

man the hyperbole and it's not even Thanksgiving..CHILL OUT.

I have no idea how he's gonna govern and I voted for him ( being an ABC=Anyone But Clinton voter)

I find some encouragement from his picks so far. The very LAST THING I wanted was a RW ideological tool like Cruz.
see how it goes.

Let's stick with the issue that I'm destroying you on before going on to the next. Care to address points that I made with facts?

It's funny that you took issue with "indisputable," but rely on the puerile "I'm destroying you."

Again - he responded to an interviewers question about women by suggesting that she was menstruating. The end.

Again that's the Hillary camp's interpretation to what he meant, not what he actually said.

Are you attempting to score points by repeating the same bullshit that was already dismissed? That technique is a fail, just so as you know...

Depending on how you take it.

Democrats have a glaring blind spot when it comes to issues like misogyny and I'm pretty sure they're not aware of it.

For the sake of argument we'll stipulate that Trump is/was a womanizer of sorts. If you want to label him misogynistic on that count fine.

In terms of the election, who the frick was Hillary to go on about it? Didn't she get rich taking money from the Saudis and other Middle East countries? Take a trip there and you might see the distinction between a man who likes the ladies and men who will brutalize them, and at times kill them, for the flimsiest of reasons---and get away with it! The latter are misogynistic in Big Neon Lights but Hillary got a pass because she's a democrat.

Red state voters saw the whole picture. Don't feel bad, the media didn't see it either and they aren't amateur commentators.

Hillary lost the election. She's yesterday's news.

All I said in the OP was that Trump clearly has issues with women. He does. That shouldn't be such a shock, or a point that his supporters really want to go to the mat about.

I have never tried to pretend that Bill Clinton didn't have issues w/ women, or tried to defend him or apologize for him in that area. I don't see why it's a big deal for some to acknowledge the same about Trump.

My only point in bringing it up in the OP is that it's one of the reasons many are having accepting him. Most of those reasons have much more to do w/ personality than with ideology or policy - that's really the only point I was making. He is, in general, not a likeable individual.

yeah seriously chill the fuck out. You guys are suffering from mass hysteria, I am sure of it.

Trump has been a liberal democrat most of his life. Rhetoric aside he'll probably be a pretty moderate president.
So why stack his cabinet with proven morons?

I was accepting the Hillary win that was predicted. So Libtards should accept Trump. Stop protesting a democratic election. ITs Over!

You pushed people too far with your over the top PC agenda.

And by that, I don't mean give up the fight, or the passion, or the principles.

But Trump won, and he won fair & square. So did a GOP Congress. I like the protests as a statement of "we're still here & we're still going to fight," but they lose me at "he's not my President." I hated that stuff w/ Obama.

I think, for the most part, the reason for this extreme reaction has a lot more to do w/ Trump's personality. It is a tough one to take, especially for our President. He's a crass boor, and a narcissist, and he clearly does have issues with women. He's not very likeable on a personal level; he's arrogant, petulant & vindictive. On that level, I'm deeply embarrassed for America today.

As far as ideology, the left should have an easier time w/ him than any recent Republican candidate or President in modern times. Trump is pretty left-of-center in a lot of areas:
- On foreign policy, he's probably going to be more of a pacifist than Hillary (who is a hawk) would have been.
- One of his first initiatives is going to be a trillion dollar infrastructure spend, which will create a ton of jobs - who could be against that?
- He's going to repatriate over a trillion dollars.
- While he wants to repeal Obamacare, he DOES want universal healthcare (what GOP candidate every campaigned on that one?)
- Don't be surprised if some of his SCOTUS nominees are moderate. I expect his 1st to be very conservative, because he's replacing Scalia. But I doubt that he wants to be the President who got Roe overturned, and he has already said he wants gay marriage to stay legal.
- The debt - I have no idea what he is going to do, but he is going to be infinitely more committed to at least decreasing it than Hillary ever was. And if you hold liberal programs dear to your heart, you should want this, because they'll be the first budget items to go if we ever tip the scales & resort to austerity measures.

There are Democrats who are more right-wing than Trump. As hard as this is to accept, I'd encourage Hillary voters to focus on the positive and where there is common ground. Let's give the overblown buffoon a chance.

I agree with you that the Left should chill, but I disagree with you on how or why we should chill.

The Left should chill because we know what Trump is promoting isn't going to work. We know that his election defies logic .. which is why so many, including me, were surprised. We should chill, but jump on every opportunity to demonstrate why his election defies logic.

I believe the Left should attack and forestall every Trump proposal that stands against our principles. This is not a time for weak-kneed democrats .. the same weak-kneed democrats of the Bush years. Democrats and the Left are not the same thing.

If democrats just go along to get along with Trump, they'll be demonstrating the same weakness and failure to fight back that has driven so many away from the party.

Treat Trump just like they treated Obama. How is that a problem?

how much of this do you consider 'America'?

where are all the communist countries' embassies.....

Had Clinton won, Trump supporters were threatening to march on the White House with guns.

No one has to accept Trump.

Your OP comment makes no sense except within the context of an election in which Hillary took part.

If you want to know why Trump won, with women, in spite of his issues, I just spelled it out.
