The Lib Media did Blackball Tim Tebow..PROOF

Let me see if I have this right...The media has fawned over TeBOW for three years, following his every footstep, throw, and kneel; the media has named him the most influential something or other out there; the media has helped him get endorsement contracts worth billions; the NFL is making billions out of him...and now THE MEDIA IS CONSPIRING AGAINST HIM?????

SJ is a psychotic, delusional, nutcase with delusions of grandeur. And a troll. It's best to put him on IA just as I and three-quarters of this forum have. Eventually he'll either go away, get locked up, or end up curled up in a corner muttering to himself.
the media rana poll. the poll showed that people thought he was influential. No wonder you're a global warmer. you can't even follow simple scenarios

and how did a college football player come to get all that influence? because he was continually hyped and over-exposed by the very media you now say is out to get him. That just doesn't make sense.

You do know that the fairness doctrine worked both ways, right?

That's how dumb and blinded you are. You can't see past your own nose because "Conservative Media" has you hoodwinked.

Think about it for a second.... of course Conservative Media doesn't want the fairness doctrine.... because...

A. It would show how purposely deceptive they have been

And

B. They would no longer have a monopoly on Conservative opinion.

The, what you call "liberal media" would also have to follow the fairness doctrine...in other words...if all the other sources of information out there besides the Conservative ones, are actually "liberal", which is bullshit, but for the moment, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt...then they would also have to comply and give Conservative commentary.

But only CONSERVATIVE media outlets complain about the idea of reinstituting the fairness doctrine. Mainstream Media is fine with the idea....why is that?

Think about it....

It's because Conservative Media is NOT Fair and Balanced... EIB has NOTHING to do with "Excellence in Broadcasting" and all those lies and propaganda they've been spewing all these years will be exposed for what it is...

And BTW....there is no conspiracy against Tebow....he just can't play the position very well. I like the kid as a person... but he needs to give up the dream of being a Superstar QB and try to reinvent himself as a role player...he'd have a shot at the Hall of Fame as Slash 2.0. Kordell Stewart fucked up....I hope Tebow doesn't.

No it didn't.....AM radio was clearly dominated by conservative commentators and they made big bucks and were very popular.....
The left tried like hell to gain some footing in the industry and every attempt was a flop....NPR had to have taxpayer money to exist, Air America had to
have Soro's contributions, with their puny audience share and advertising revenue they couldn't compete.....so they tried to pass law the would give
them equal time with the so-called fairness doctrine.....they literally FORCED themselves on the airwaves with the propaganda no one wanted to hear...

You clearly missed the point. His fans destroyed his career. Nobody wants "the most influential athlete in the world" for their backup Qb. They want some guy that quietly carries water.

You clearly missed the point, msm destroyed his career....because of msm political views, THEY didn't want "the most influential athlete in the world" to be a Conservative Christian....

And how is that different from what I said? How is the media trying to fuck him over when they said he was influential? Try reading the OP and my post, dumbfuck.

in absence of the fairness doctrine, how did those liberal stations FORCE themselves anywhere?

I think you're history is a tad skewed.

the msm "destroyed is career"??? how did they do that? did they force him to lose football games and to make bad on-field decisions? did they force the jets to waive him? the msm MADE this guy. without the media hyping him and showing photos of him tebowing after every play, he'd have been just another college QB who couldn't hack it in the pros.

This is getting technical but you said the media voted Tebow most influential athlete. In reality it was the fans who voted him most influential. Forbes just reported the poll.

Ahhh...gotcha. Ok. Forbes and the rest of the media reported it.

And the msm decides who gets signed by a team? No they don't.

Your premise is nonsense as many athletes and coaches routinely praise God.

Good point. The Jaguars have a large and active Christian Athlete's organization.

Some ppl forget TeBOW isn't the only football player who prays to God, he just advertises it a hell of a lot more.

There is an even more basic issue. Ok, the fans voted him the most "influential" athlete. But can he win football games as a QB? These teams spend millions to have a winning season. The fact that Michael Vick had a comeback at all shows that the coaches and owners don't give a damn about what the public thinks as long as the player can help the team win games.

Obviously, the Jets don't think Tebow is the right person for that job, otherwise he would still be on the roster.

If the question is can he wi football games then the answer is yes. He won football games.. Sure I will hear all of the excuses of how it wasn't him, blah blah blah.

If the question is whether he is a classic NFL QB in the mode of Marino, nope he isn't. Remember when there was a negro QB out of Washington who the so called "experts" didn't think could play QB. He is in the Hall of Fame right now.

Before you shit your pants, I am not saying Tebow is a Hall of Fame QB, just that the so called "experts" get it wrong pretty often.

Tom Brady?
Jamarcus Russell?
Jeff George?
Tony Romo?

There is definitely something at play here that has nothing to do with Tebows football ability. JMO

The media didn't kill his career. The owners and coaches of an NFL football team wouldn't care if he wore a clerical collar under his pads, or whether he danced the tango in Time Square wearing pink tights. What they care about is whether or not he is thw best choice to be part of that team. Maybe you've heard of the concept of a TEAM?

If Tebow was the best fit they would have kept him, media be damned. If he wasn't a good fit, he would have been gone regardless of what the media said.

I was RIGHT with my earlier post that the Lib bias media/press have basically tried to Blackball Conservative athletes and here is the proof............

"Tim Tebow is the Sarah Palin of the National Football League: a huge draw, loved by many, hated by the establishment and constantly disrespected for nothing other than virtue. Polarizing only because we live in a post-Christian, narcissistic petri dish; Tebow has become the third rail of the National Football League. In the age of Lady Blah-Blah, the squeaky-clean Boy Scout is now a national pariah. Tebow has quickly become the perpetual blanket party of the “nattering nabobs.” But who ordered the Code Red?"

"Whether he remains in the NFL or ultimately chooses another career, Tim Tebow will not change. He will succeed in whatever endeavor he pursues, for he has already carved out the right priorities: God first, others second, self last. But I hate to see the lycans in the media get away with another drive by crucifixion."

WOW, I didn't know the evil media was the head coach of the NY Jets. Tebow's problems have nothing to do with his religion. Kurt Warner is proof you're full of shit. Has the media destroyed Mariano Rivera? Tebow's problem is he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. He couldn't even beat out Mark Sanchez.

SJJJ started this exact same thread last year regarding Tebow. You had an owner that wanted him (Woody Johnson) and a coach that didn't (Rex Ryan). The coach chose not to play him. Despite the fact that he never played, the media, especially ESPN, wouldn't shut up about him.

Seems to me a good destination could be a Florida team where his college pedigree might draw some fans but who knows.

He ought to just say he is a flaming queer and that he performs abortions in weekends and roasts the dead babies

He would be starting tomorrow and Snarla would want to blow him

If Tebow were good enough to start he would be starting. Nobody gives a shit about his beliefs and they would tolerate his hype and the circus that surrounds him. But for a guy that is at best a backup and possible gadget, no.

Reggie White was quite religious and outspoken. No one kept him off the field because of it.
