The Life and Times of RFK, Jr.

Who said this in post 55, I wonder?

"Unfortunately for you, there was no finding of any wrongdoing. "

In the settlement. Do I need to quote it again? :tongout:

Dance for me some more, will you?

Here's the actual decree. Only a crazy person could read this and claim that Fred and Don didn't discriminate. The state laid out the claim and this was the trump defense: "Defendants vigorously deny said allegations."

No counter arguments, no contradicting facts, no examples pointing out lies... just one sentence of denial. Of course they settled; actually, they got off easy.

"After two years, the matter settled with a consent decree, signed June 10, 1975. It included the ordinary disclaimer of liability (the settlement was “in no way an admission” of a violation)..."

:rofl2:

"Irrespective of the merits of the complaint, however, the principal officers of defendant Trump Management, Inc., are prepared to affirmatively assume and carry out the responsibility for assuring that their employees will comply with the Act and will promote equal opportunity."

Because it wasn't being done before. :ROFLMAO:

Back to the thread topic. Here are some of the things Dems loved and repubs hated about RFK Jr. before he became a trumper.

1. Kennedy graduated from Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He began his career as an assistant district attorney in New York City. In the mid-1980s, he joined two nonprofits focused on environmental protection: Riverkeeper and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). His work at Riverkeeper set long-term environmental legal standards. At both organizations, Kennedy won legal battles against large corporate polluters.

2. In 1987, Kennedy founded the Environmental Litigation Clinic at Pace University School of Law... The clinic has sued governments and companies for polluting Long Island Sound and the Hudson River and its tributaries

3. In 1995, Kennedy advocated for repeal of legislation that he considered unfriendly to the environment. While working with Riverkeeper, Kennedy spearheaded a 34-year battle to close the Indian Point nuclear-power plant.

4. Kennedy and a few dozen Riverkeepers gathered in Southampton, Long Island, to found the Waterkeeper Alliance... Under Kennedy's leadership, Waterkeeper launched its "Clean Coal is a Deadly Lie" campaign in 2001, bringing dozens of lawsuits targeting mining practices, including mountaintop removal and slurry pond construction, as well as coal-burning utilities' mercury emissions and coal ash piles.

5. In 2000, Kennedy and the environmental lawyer Kevin Madonna founded the environmental law firm Kennedy & Madonna, LLP, to represent private plaintiffs against polluters The firm litigates environmental contamination cases on behalf of individuals, non-profit organizations, school districts, public water suppliers, Indian tribes, municipalities and states.

6. In 2007, Kennedy was one of three finalists nominated by Public Justice as "Trial Lawyer of the Year" for his role in the $396 million jury verdict against DuPont for contamination from its Spelter, West Virginia zinc plant.

Worried about
Kennedy but never a concern about Joe...who recently wandered into the rainforest... And miss the group photo...

Too drunk and demented to understand that Biden will be gone shortly while Trump wants RFK jr for his four year term. Sad.

After reading several bios and articles about RFK Jr., I learned a lot and decided to pass it along what I learned about this troubled man. This part is focused on his early life and beliefs.

1. As a teen he struggled with drug abuse, was arrested for possession and expelled from several schools... Some in the Kennedy family regarded him as the "ringleader" of a pack of spoiled, rich kids who called themselves the "Hyannis Port Terrors", engaging in vandalism, theft, and drug use.

2. Failed the NY bar exam in 1983. Also charged and convicted of heroin possession for which he received two years of probation and community service, aka "the rich boy's punishment." Claimed he had 14 years of heroin abuse before kicking the habit.

3. In 2006 he began questioning the validity of political elections. In 2008, he was considered for the position of EPA head, but it was tanked when Obama learned about his past heroin conviction. Also, Senate republicans opposed him.

4. In 2024, he said he would "under no circumstances" join Trump on a presidential ticket, that his and Trump's positions "could not be further apart", and that Trump was a "terrible human being", a "discredit to democracy", and "probably a sociopath".
5. RFK Jr. was married three times and has six kids with two of the women. He cheated on all of his wives and is known as a serial womanizer and lifelong philanderer. His second wife committed suicide after finding his journal in which he wrote about having sexual encounters with 37 women.

6. Health problems include heart problems, spasmodic dysphonia, severe short and long term memory loss, which he attributed to a brain worm, and mercury poisoning.

*To be continued.

Say hello to the new head of HHS.

Obama's Cloward-Piven subsidized housing bullshit goes away now.
No more government subsidizing multimillion dollar homes because people can't afford them, driving up the tax rates and rent for everyone.
