The Bernie Bro only failed to take out the Republican caucus because he was stopped in the act of trying. Yet I don’t seem to recall a nationwide crackdown on leftwing extremists afterwards nor was the Capitol put under a literal military occupation over it.

Who told you they made threats? Have you seen the intelligence? And how many actual active right wing militiamen were arrested on 1/6?

Actually some Oath Keepers and Proud Boys have been arrested and charges and other are on the list, but you know that already, don't ya. Will be interesting to see the final list of thos charged but right now it is over 300 people with an estimated 500 plus to still be dealt with. A whole lot of people are going to jail over that little incident.

Because of two reasons:

1. The need for any troops there is unnecessary--totally unnecessary.

2. This is the third time they have been extended and it isn't the military asking for these extensions.

You can toss in the obvious hysterical paranoia of mostly Leftist / Progressive Democrats over the whole Capitol riot thing.

I'm content to let the commanders on the ground and our intelligence agencies make that call.

My guess is because, according to the Oath Keeper Rhodes, there are 30,000 Oath Keepers running loose along with another 500+ suspects from the Capitol right.

Did you protest not being able to park your truck at the airport terminal after 9/11? There were armed soldiers in our airports for months until better security could be installed. Remember the 2013 LAX shooting? It would have been worse if security had been weaker.

Why does his name matter? If you goof balls want to use the term insurrection loosely then DC is under military occupation.

So, they go out and arrest some people who had no involvement in 1/6 and the total number of Oath Keepers is interesting—if true.

How many of them were actually involved in the pseudo insurrection?
