The military occupation of DC has nothing to do with any credible threats

They are not in the garage, that was very short lived and I thought wrong. Not me making the call, people that know far more about what is going on are making that call.

Nope, US Army, 11B, 76Y, 21L. Did you forget about out little talk about crossing the DMZ in Korea into the north? AF don't go to places like that.

The fact that a democrat house member convinced them to move them to a garage cause of "covid" (media scrubbed that) shows a lack of respect and the lack of live ammo in the loadout indicates the threat was not nearly what it was portrayed as.

I did forget that. being an 11b I would think you would be more sensitive to politicians abusing the guard and other military types for optics. I had to look the other two mos's up, lithographer? Supply guy? maybe you lost touch on this? no offense intended, but as you see there was no reason and remains no reason to keep them there, for how much longer now? it's abusive for optics.

a shitty thing to do.

Most Capitol Riot Suspects Have No Far-Right Group Ties

16% of the 195 defendants charged in federal cases have a known affiliation with right-wing militias or other groups that espouse violence.

Researchers at the Chicago Project on Security and Threats, a University of Chicago institute that looked at a larger group of arrestees that included local charges, found that 10% had known affiliations with such groups.

That's your problem.

no, that's my experience, liars never say they were infantry then support. thats always a clue. I may have some real strong disagreements with him and see him teetering on tribalism at times, but I am confident his base is solid.

The theme of the thread is a lie from the start. We had a terrible attack on the nation's capital and over 140 cops were injured, 5 people died. The "worst ' of them said they were coming back on 3-4
for Trump's "rightful" inauguration. Congress decided not to sit on the 4th because of the threat. Yet Legion writes that there was no credible threat. The military, the capital police, and congress took it seriously. They would have been creamed if they left and another insurrection happened. Maybe the proud boys, White supremacists and other America-hating groups after waiting for the withdrawal.

Ammo is available, count on it.

You know what 11B is, 76Y is Supply, of which Unit Armorer is part of, and is what I was in several Mech Inf. Units, 21L is a Pershing Missile Electronics Repairman.

You're entitled to your opinion.

The fact is that GASPER possesses no authoritative knowledge of the situation being discussed, and I see no reason to allow him to imbue himself with credibility that he does not possess.

You can hate him all you want, he's thanked douchebags attacking me, has gotten snarky with me at times, but at the end of the day, from a guy who spent 8 years active, a couple as a contractor, I can tell you, his claims of service ring absolutely true with me.

You're missing the point. His claims are irrelevant to any factual discussion of the thread topic. I don't care about your credulity.

So you know what I did. my last duty station was a DRU called AFOTEC, I literally was a jtac for a space based system (in a test obviously) was pretty fucking cool. I'm pretty sure the system is unclassified. lol I hope. ;) it was a 6 month stint with my pending 180 day terminal leave (they changed the availability to take a 180 day leave without selling it back right after me) over in albuquerque.

I looked up 21L, I got a camera guy

so we have a disagreement, he's saying ammo is avail in supply chains, my contention is that if it's not on thier battle rattle then it's not a serious threat.
