The Most Epic Email Ever

Oh wow... We've got different taste.

Let's see... we can add to your "greats" with Huey Lewis and the News... Michael Jackson...

What's wrong with Huey? He was quite the hunk, back in the day.

And BTW - as bad as they were, the 80s were still better for fashion than the 70s. And even the worst music from the 80s was better than Disco. Poor little white kids with their parents getting them a 'fro and sending them to school... Pick in hand.

Pinholes in satin shirts, making noise when you walk either because your bell bottoms were brushing or your corduroys were "swishing"...

Gah... I'm glad I wasn't a teen in the 70s.

No, the 80's was by far the worst decade for fashion, horrid stuff, muscle pants, leggings, shoulder pads and over permed hair.

The 70's were cool, blue jeans, hot pants, Belly shirts, maxis, so much better, so much more groovy. The 80's I hated.

Me too, and I was never able to fit in because I despised it. I like some 80's Rock, but not that shit. Zepplin is somewhat tolerable but Black Sabbath, jesus, how can anyone who listens to that shit talk about anyone's taste in music? God that is torture. That is torture to me.

Black Sabbath, to me, sounds like cats mating. Bad music. Zeppelin is still awesome.

...but that's 70's rock. Both Zeplin and Black Sabbath (at least the original line up with Ozzie) had broken up by 1980 and if you didn't like Led Zeplin or Black Sabbath then you obviously didn't do enough bong hits!!!

I had plenty, still hated BS, now Alice Cooper rocked!

There are some great bands and artists from the '80s, Depeche Mode, New Order, Tears for Fears, Level 42, REM, ZZ Top, Spandau Ballet, UB40, Elvis Costello, Madness, Squeeze and INXS to name a few.

We listened to he same music! Styx, Pablo Cruise, Foreigner, Boston, The Police

I don't like heavy metal at all. Zeppelin's okay, not my fave but okay. My older son used this song for a ringtone. I always liked it, too.

I didn't care for heavy metal much, either, Bud loved it, I was more into groups like The Moody Blues, James Gang, The Turtles, Vanilla Fudge.
