So let me get this straight:

You believe there's some "intelligence" or something (you are usually pretty unclear about it for obvious reasons) that animates and creates the universe. It obviously had to come from somewhere. So that means you think something can come from nothing.

Or do you think that "animating force/gobbledygook new age handwavy thing you believe in is "eternal".

How is that different from someone believing that the universe is eternally in a state of bigbang-inflation-deflation-bigbang-inflation-deflation or that the membranes are eternal and their interactions which spark the existence of new universes?

Don't worry. I don't expect you to support your position but rather scream insults at me. That's how I know you don't actually think through your position.

(QUICK! Run to the mods! I've added content to your post and it makes you uncomfortable! Get them to ban me for the sin of adding to the thread)

Why aren't you posting under your new sock Daylight63?

Why aren't you posting under your new sock Daylight63?

I think it's hilarious that you sock hunters are always trying to figure out who has what sock.

Hilarious.

But I noted you didn't answer the question. Why are you TROLLING YOUR OWN THREAD, troll?

You can't even answer the question. You will note I predicted this exact outcome. So now I know even more that you don't even understand the implications of your own fucking points.

What fuckin' moron. You are lucky most of your few friends on here are too stupid to see that.

^^^^^ Told ya! You are too easy. You are a fake intellectual poseur and I've got your number. LOL. I can predict you perfectly based solely on your posting behavior.

Now try NOT trolling your own thread and answer my quesiton. How does YOUR position differentiate from the atheist position?

LOL You wont'. I know you wont' because you can't. You don't even UNDERSTAND the question.

The clock is tickin! Cypress has now sent a PM to his favorite mod and cried "He's asking difficult questions of me that make me look like a second rate intellect poseur. Make him go away! If you don't I'm gonna hold my breath and stamp my widdle feet!"

Try explaining how YOUR position is different from an atheist position.

Kafka aka Perry aka Daylight63 aka etc,

When you start posting in good faith, you will be treated civilly.

Your habit of creating new socks, and then lying about it, is not posting in good faith.

There is probably never going to be widely accepted scientific proof of how something can come from nothing, aka the origin of the cosmic order.

Science is one of the most powerful intellectual tools humans have invented, but an intelligent person has to accept it's limitations. We have been trying to understand gravity for more than two thousand years, but the best we can do is model mathematically how it works -but we do not really know why matter causes spacetime to distort.

I don't believe in magic, miracles or supernatural events within the Universe.

OTOH, the Universe obviously came from somewhere. Physics has ruled out some things, barring new evidence, such as an Oscillating Universe. Current evidence seems to indicate ours is one-shot universe.

QED on retard. Sad. Have you ever considered suicide, Perry? Most retards don't.

I am not even sure the question is a scientific one, or one that our chimpanzee brains would understand even if someone gave us the answer.

The best physical explanation that makes sense to me is the hypothesis of eternal inflation - a never-ending sequence of bubble universes being driven by a scalar inflationary field and quantum fluctuations. But that still doesn't explain why and how an inflationary field would exist.

Not a physicist, much less a quantum physicist, but I think research will continue to peel the layers off the mysteries of the universe. :)

LOL. What a lie.

I often post in good faith but you just attack me.

You are such a piece of shit.

If you wish to continue TROLLING YOUR OWN THREAD then by all means don't answer my question.

You know what isn't in good faith? Answering an honest question with this sort of shit.

Are you really THIS STUPID???

What we know now from the OP is that the OP wishes to mock a philosophy that does not differ substantially from his own. He just hates atheists. Not sure why...considering that he calls himself an "agnostic" (this week), "seeker" (last week), who knows what next week?

If the OP understood his own position he'd actually be able to address my question in Post #2.

But he can't

And now he's blaming SOMEONE ELSE for his inability to answer it.

LOL

Frankly I'm surprised his pleas to the mods haven't resulted in faster response.

How is your position different from atheism in terms of the origins?

Tic tic tic tic. C'mon mods. Cypress is hurtin! He needs your help!

Agree.
I'm not a quantum physicist either, but there has been a lot written by physicists about what what might have been happening before the big bang, and that topic has always interested me
