Imagine living with that much anger and resentment. That doesn't explain your jealousy of those with more education, Perry.

You know about it more than I do. My level of physics is limited to building a golf ball launching trebuchet.Agree.
I'm not a quantum physicist either, but there has been a lot written by physicists about what what might have been happening before the big bang, and that topic has always interested me
Posting in good faith 70 percent of the time is still an act of bad faith.I often post in good faith but you just attack me.
You are such a piece of shit.
Agreed. TBH, that's the part that interests me the most: Why?Imagine living with that much anger and resentment.
I defer to your psychological analysis, but it is true that a dedicated armchair amateur psychologist would have a field day with this board.Agreed. TBH, that's the part that interests me the most: Why?
IMO, people who harbor so much anger, hate and resentment usually suffered some form of trauma. In Perry's case, it was the trauma of growing up with mental deficiencies and being bullied in school. It's possible his school was too poor to have a Special Ed class or, even if they did, he still had to ride the long bus with the regular kids who tormented him for being a "tard".
Others, such as ex-Captain Earl and CO/goat, suffered trauma as adults and it really pisses them off as shown by their posts.
It's been 40 years since I enrolled in an actual college physics class, but I like to keep up on my reading. Sadly, it has no practical value and I have to always congratulate the sensibility of my best friend who is rapidly becoming a master wood worker. You know about it more than I do. My level of physics is limited to building a golf ball launching trebuchet.
I never passed anything but HS physics. My readings are about psychology and space exploration. As a retiree, none have practical value, but I enjoy them. It's been 40 years since I enrolled in an actual college physics class, but I like to keep up on my reading. Creating sock puppets and then lying about it is an act of bad faith.

You are such a repulsive scum!
you amoral piece of shit!
You are just now learning that divine creation is a fundamental tenet of religious belief? That is what religionist believe. So that means you think something can come from nothing.
Interesting that you were so keen to run away from militant atheism and claim the mantle of non-judgmental live-and-let live atheism, but as per usual you ridicule and demean the intelligence of anyone with religious faith.Or do you think that "animating force/gobbledygook new age handwavy thing you believe in is "eternal".
Religion provides a first cause. What you are describing is how a mechanism works, but not a first cause. How is that different from someone believing that the universe is eternally in a state of bigbang-inflation-deflation-bigbang-inflation-deflation or that the membranes are eternal and their interactions which spark the existence of new universes?
I'll answer your question if you give me an honest and sincere answer to mine
You are just now learning that divine creation is a fundamental tenet of religious belief? That is what religionist believe. Atheists are materialists, so they owe an explanation for it.

Religion provides a first cause. What you are describing is how a mechanism works, but not a first cause.
Since the eternal logos, the Tao, the universal spirit, whatever you want to call it, is incorporeal and exists outside of space and time it is eternal by definition. As anything outside of time would be. Attempting to use mechanistic explanations just leads to an infinite regress of material causes - that is a logical reducto ad absurdum.
Now, your turn to answer my question:
What is the honest and sincere reason you created the sock puppet Daylight63, and then lied about doing so?
So you claim to be a good faith poster, and then blatantly lie to my face.I didn't create it. Hope that answers it for you.
So you claim to be a good faith poster, and then blatantly lie to my face.
Don't demand I answer any more of your questions in good faith, if you refuse to do the same.
You are describing yourself again, Sybil.Agreed. TBH, that's the part that interests me the most: Why?

'Analyzing' yourself accomplishes NOTHING, Sybil.I defer to your psychological analysis, but it is true that a dedicated armchair amateur psychologist would have a field day with this board.
Denying physics again, Sybil? It's been 40 years since I enrolled in an actual college physics class, but I like to keep up on my reading. Sadly, it has no practical value and I have to always congratulate the sensibility of my best friend who is rapidly becoming a master wood worker.
You deny physics, Sybil. You can't 'psychoanalyze' yourself either.I never passed anything but HS physics. My readings are about psychology and space exploration. As a retiree, none have practical value, but I enjoy them.
No, it isn't, Sybil.I'll answer your question if you give me an honest and sincere answer to mine
You are just now learning that divine creation is a fundamental tenet of religious belief?
You are deeply religious, and you do not believe that. That is what religionist believe.
You are not an atheist, Sybil. You are deeply religious. A fundamentalist.Atheists by contrast are materialists, so they owe an explanation for it.
There is no such thing, Sybil. Buzzword fallacy.Interesting that you were so keen to run away from militant atheism
Nah. You just ridicule anyone of a different faith than yours.and claim the mantle of non-judgmental live-and-let live atheism, but as per usual you ridicule and demean the intelligence of anyone with religious faith.
For the simple reason you lie, Sybil.Religion provides a first cause. What you are describing is how a mechanism works, but not a first cause.
