The myth of voter fraud

I would never say repubs don't cheat more than dems, only a moron thinks without id's operatives on both sides are cheating.

say's the left's chief parrot, What do you agree with republicans on?

Seems The Dude can't prove his case, so he goes on the personal attack. Stay on topic, genius.
Don't ALL insurance companies require ID's and dems want to make it criminal not to have insurance. You dumb fuck libtards can't even see the box you put yourselves in.

Again, do you even have a clue as to State and Federal requirements for voting, genius? As it stands, the voter registration processes have kept actual voter FRAUD to minute problem...matter of fact and history. The hysteria the GOP keeps feeding dumb toots like you is NOT SUPPORTED BY THE FACTS.

The crack is rotting your brain, "Dude"....wise the fuck up!

Since the left feel that there is no need for a voter ID, then why do we even need to register to vote/
Wouldn't true freedom mean that we just show up and are given a ballot, without having to prove anything/

currently, ca uses paper ballots and the secretary of state needs to know how many ballots to send to each polling station

where electronic voting is used, we can dispense with paper ballots (except absentee) and people could just show up at a designated voting place and declare and sign a document that states who they are and that they are subject to penalties for making a false statement and vote

Not a good enough reason.
Why should anyone have to proclaim to which party they align with, in order to vote?
If ID's are such a bad idea, then why not just do away with voter registration.

why do so many refuse the facts on this subject.

No paper trail means someone can alter the counting results and no one is the wiser.

No IDs has worked fine and the fraud claimed by the right to do this voter caging type sceme DOES NOT EXSIST!

Spending millions on a non exsistant problem whos result will be fewer legal voters voting is utter insanity.

There is only one reason for wanting it.

To reduce the number of voters.

A massive Republican campaign to suppress minority and low-income voting is under way.

If it works, the GOP may be able to prevent many millions of Americans, largely Democrats, from voting — potentially affecting 171 electoral votes.

Though right-wing efforts to suppress low-income and minority voting have a long history, the current GOP campaign seems unprecedented in scope, organization and ambition.

Public attention has focused on the new state photo ID requirements.

But many other new and not-so-new devices have been instituted across the nation.

These include: cutbacks in the days available for pre-Election Day voting, making it harder to assist voters with registration, eliminating Election Day registration and requiring proof of citizenship to either register or vote.

Partisan gerrymandering is also involved.

The Justice Department has concluded that two new Texas districts violate the Voting Rights Act by deliberately “diminishing the ability” of Latinos to elect their preferred candidate to Congress.

The framers bequeathed us a Constitution intended to create “a more perfect Union.” Every time an eligible voter is denied the right to vote, we are left that much farther from achieving that goal.

Of course, your neocon/teabagger toadies will bend over backwards and shove their heads up their own asses rather than just acknowledge how this man's words are being turned into action with the teabagger governors (with help from some bluedogs) that make it harder and more expensive for people to vote.

Tiechiged I know a lot of states require id. I know libtards like you go along with dems no matter what.
If its needed for insurance and you assclowns want to make it mandatory. You have boxed yourself in with the other tards

Tiechiged I know a lot of states require id. Yeah, so? What does that have to do with the teabagger/neocon push for ADDITIONAL laws that would make it MORE difficult and EXPENSIVE for people to vote? I know libtards like you go along with dems no matter what. Whatever you're smoking, it's affecting your ability to string a coherent sentence. Since the "dems" are NOT adovocating REMOVAL of the standing State laws regarding voter ID, your statement is just pointless. If its needed for insurance and you assclowns want to make it mandatory. You have boxed yourself in with the other tards

You keep pushing these moronic comparisons. Here, let me dumb it down for you......in NO STATE in America can any joker just walk in off the streets and vote...there is a SYSTEM that exists which identifies citizens by location, party affiliation, etc. Before you vote, you're either sent a notification card, or you can present combinations of or single various forms of ID (utility bills, non-driver ID, driver's license, passport, etc.), which is checked before you're allowed into the booth. As it has been PROVEN on this board by several valid and documented sources, the amount of ACTUAL voter fraud across the country is some miniscule sub fraction (as no system is perfect)....hardly the rampant threat the GOP is wailing about.

AGAIN, passing additional laws that make it MORE difficult and expensive for people to register to vote (even with people who ARE registered citizens and have been voting for YEARS) is NOT a solution, let alone necessary. It is in fact just a ruse by the GOP to reduce the number of voters for 2012 and the short term beyond, as it is an historic FACT that the GOP does BETTER with a low voter turn out.

Now, if you can logically and factually disprove what I just stated, then have at it. But if you're just going to stubbornly regurgitate the drug addled nonsense you've already posted, I won't waste anymore time on you. Carry on.

It is interesting that the right wing, long an opponent of any type of national identification card, is very keen to impose photo identification requirements at the state level.

Why? Ben Jealous, president of the NAACP, calls the voter ID laws "a solution without a problem … it's not going to make the vote more secure. What it is going to do is put the first financial barrier between people and their ballot box since we got rid of the poll tax."

Taichiged. Did you go to college?

Yep, and they honed my critical thinking skills along with the other curriculum. Obviously, you're one of those vidiots who doesn't know anything beyond your birthday and has no intention of doing so. Here, let me school you:

Before radar guns became proliferate among cops, they essentially watched the road, made a judgement call based on experience, then paced the suspect car verify their suspicions. Oh, and to stop your further stalling and dodge, even WITH radar guns, speeders contest their tickets and sometimes win.

Now that I've dispensed with this latest silly dodge of yours, try dealing with reality: in NO STATE in America can any joker just walk in off the streets and vote...there is a SYSTEM that exists which identifies citizens by location, party affiliation, etc. Before you vote, you're either sent a notification card, or you can present combinations of or single various forms of ID (utility bills, non-driver ID, driver's license, passport, etc.), which is checked before you're allowed into the booth.
