The new, “get off my lawn”!

It's not that Ariel is black it's that she was established as a white character and they changed her simply for political reasons.

She was always white, if they wanted her black they should have made her black to begin with.

Now Disney is making the live version of Snow White an Hispanic girl and she's never been Hispanic and they also removed the dwarves and made them into adults for political reasons.

If you create a history with a character you should keep that history, the message they are sending is that they no longer like white characters.

Why?

Who are you to dictate to the contents creators or owners that they must never change characters?

Why should they care about your tears and demands?

I grew up reading comic books, and every 10 years or so, they would completely reboot major characters with a new look, a new spin realizing it was the best way to sell more material to people who had already read it and also the new and growing audience.

You, not the owner or creator say 'Nooooooo. ONLY MEEEEE. You must only cater to MEEEEE or you will face my endless tears'.

But why? If the owner wants to change and refresh their material, why should your tears matter to them??

Why does variation upset you so much?

Why remake something if you are going to keep it exactly the same?

Who gives a shit, they aren’t forcing you to watch it are they?

Because to them it is foreboding about the loss of sole power and tears over sharing power.

For over 100 years Hollywood and TV has almost exclusively woke pandered to white's and more specifically males. And that was fine as they were the main buyers and Hollywood is a business. just as Bollywood panders to Indians, mostly.

It is how things work and there is nothing wrong with that.

But as the face of the BUYING audience changes and women and PoC have more buying power, Hollywood rightly pivots to pander to them too. As they should.

BUt that is a threat to the group (white males) who had near 100%. They still get about 80% of the woke pandering but the loss of that 20% scares and angers them. Especially as they realize their influence is shrinking over time and the shift will continue.

There was nothing wrong with the prior 100 years of woke pandering to whites (especially males) and there is nothing wrong with the change in it to reflect PoC and women, but one demographic in particular will cry crocodile tears saying "all the woke pandering should be done to me alone. Me... Me... Me..."

Those tears are inevitable to continue but also delicious.

Nothing goes better with a woke movie than a side of their tears.

The modern version of the old person screaming at kids on the sidewalk is the kook watching whack job media screaming about how diversity, wokeness and transgender people are making his life miserable!

Disney changed my favorite kids movie by having dark skinned mermaids!

You're really a pathetic idiot on steroids. :palm:

Logic cannot penetrate the obvious ignorance of dishonest, lying leftist halfwits like Jarod. They cannot comprehend the OBVIOUS.

Meanwhile, the GOP and Trump are planning another violent coup. But...movies n' junk....

Violent coup? You really are too stupid to comprehend how moronic you look. :palm:

Because I an a shareholder.

People like me allow them to exist as a company.

So I have a say in what they do.

Again you show how white people think only their opinion matters.

Disney has a diverse shareholder base.

Having say is not as you think a right to dictate. Having say means the vast majority of movies and tv today STILL DO woke pander to mostly white people, with fewer, but growing, pandering to more diverse groups.

That is how it works and none of your tears of 'ONLY ME' matter.

You are a typical entitled little brat. I AM A SHAREHOLDER SO CATER TO ME ALONE!

FLOL.

Do you know why we are shareholders?

To make money.

Doesn't matter what your race is.

Disney is losing money and so are we.
