That seems to be the general consensus. After this verdict, they'll rush for a deal.

Still, I don't know if they will face much jail time. They were subordinates who actually tried to do the right thing on more than one occasion. It was Chauvin who tortured Floyd both with strangulation and with joint manipulation.

yes, and some of the doctors testified that Floyd probably would have died due to his drug use even if the confrontation never happened. Also, if he had not resisted arrest he would probably be alive today.

He did not resist arrest at any point. Nevertheless, you cannot make the argument that he was resisting at any point during the 9 minute torture.

Once, when jury duty was going to interfere with a planned Vegas vacation, I told the judge not to expect much from me if she made me stay.

She winked and said, "Have a good time in Vegas, Nifty." If my wife wasn't coming, I may have invited her.

I've served on two actual trial juries and was called to jury duty I believe seven or eight times in my long life.
Everybody gets out of it, so if you're actually available as I generally was, you get called over and over.

if jury tampering is proved, a mistrial will be called and the case could be dismissed. I don't think that will happen because of all the media pressure, but it could. Just think, then you libs could destroy your neighbor's homes and businesses. wouldn't that be great?

I believe no doctor gave that testimony. Defense called a medical expert who only claimed it could have contributed to death, not that it caused the death.

a contributing factor is very hard to separate from a causative factor. We will never know exactly what killed Floyd or if he could have survived the knee if he was not full of drugs.

I do think the cop is guilty but its not as cut and dried as the media pretends it to be.

I'm sure you viewed Tucker Carlson's video that got millions of views. He stated that Floyd died due to his heart condition. You don't think any jurors saw that?

Dr. Tobin gave all the information that anyone needs. He counted out the respirations as the video played, and pinpointed the exact point when the murder occurred. Floyd had no underlying condition that caused his death, save for his skin color.

Maybe they didn’t allow it to come up in the trial but Floyd said he was having trouble breathing *prior* to being restrained. Coupled with his toxicology report that’s a slam dunk he was in some degree of respiratory distress. That could also be a sign of an impending cardiac episode: Chest pain, difficulty breathing etc. It’s entirely plausible it was a combination of both.

I was skeptical that Chauvin could have ‘murdered’ a healthy individual with a knee restraint the day I became familiar with the facts.

Nothing has changed my mind.

Floyd was having a panic attack. You can see it from the very beginning when the cop approached his car.

yes he had several drug arrests and robbery armed robbery and was about to get another drug charge and passing counterfeiter money and maybe a intoxicated in public charge that would cause a panic attack knowing he was going back to prison, maybe if he had not committed armed robbery at gun point traded drugs stealing drugs passed counterfeit bills and been sober and no drugs on him he wouldn't be having a panic attack knowing he was going back to prison. Would you say that was a possibility bidenpresident or are you to stupid to accept the truth
