I actually heard a black guy make the argument that "America isn't ready for a black President, they'll kill him" as the reason that he wasn't going to vote for Obama.

It is inexplicable to me. If you think he'll do the best job and he is willing to take the risk then vote for him.

Don't say, "I want to protect him from those bad people and that's why I won't vote for him!" That's just a sad excuse.
