Well, I am certainly impressed by your faith in the cop's shooting ability.

Now if I were a neighbor and I heard shots next door and I owned a gun... would the "Stand Your Ground" laws cover me killing the person that was doing the shooting?

Oh wait, I don't want this turning into a gun thread.

If YOU are fine with a cop shooting kittens in your back yard, that's up to you. I still think it's a very bad idea.

I never said I was "fine" with it; but the reaction from liberals is just an example of how far they are willing to go; all the while whining about the "extreme" from the other side.

Was he shooting the kittens in the neighbors yard; because if not, how do you explain your "rant-du-jour"?

Not sure i want a cop shooting anything or anyone in my backyard!
Not entirely sure I would waste my time calling, the way plods are so PC these days!!

I love how this post exposes Conservatives.....

I have family that "runs" a small town America. There is no funding for stray pets.......The town won't vote for the taxation needed to deal with them properly.

MILLIONS of small towns in America shoot animals because they don't have the funding to "shelter" them. Only one ignorant tool decided to do it in front of a person and they actually had a shelter..........

I love all the situations where Conservatives vote "no" on funding and then face a possible lawsuit by a Lawyer, (#3 on the top %ers) "Well, we didn't think we needed it until we got sued.........now it's gonna cost us more than prevention would have"........................The story of America..

Well, I dunno about wrestling, but maybe the kittens would have had to take turns fighting the dreaded hand monster. And then be punished with some leftover KFC.

There is nothing stopping you from starting a shelter yourself, and convincing others to help you.

Conservative or Liberal .... this wasn't handled well. The man should be reprimanded ... and hopefully taught a lesson about how,to better handle the situation should it ever arise again. It sounds like the leadership is questionable though since what appears to be his boss didn't find anything wrong with how he handled the dreaded pride of cats.
