It's pathetic to watch McCarthy dodge questions about how low the GOP is willing to go with disgusting humans like twump, Santos, MTG, Gaetz, et. al. I don't see how the party is reparable at all at this point.

It's going to lose them upcoming elections like it did the last few. Yes, the won the house, but by such a slim margin, it's doubtful McCarthy will get the votes to do anything except expel him from the Speakership. McCarthy agreed to the deal that only one member has to call a vote to expel him - and the Dems will all vote to do it - then they'll likely never agree on another speaker.

Republicans are proud of the fact they will show that they have no ability to govern. They will pay in the next election.
