Hillary says....

"Since when has it been part of American patriotism to keep our mouths shut?" Hillary Clinton-2006

"I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and
disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic.
We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have
the right to debate and disagree with any administration. " - Hillary Clinton April 2003

Then Harry Reid says...

Town hall protesters are "evil-mongers," says Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)

Reid coined the term in a speech to an energy conference in Las Vegas this week and repeated it in an interview with Politics Daily.

Such "evil-mongers" are using "lies, innuendo and rumor," to drown out rational debate, Reid said.

And then they deny being hypocrites.....go figure

Actually you could use Obama's quote of (paraphrasing) 'I don't want those folks who created this mess to do a lot of talking'.

Now he didn't say specifically who he was referring to as to who caused the mess but I don't think it would be to hard to surmise who he had in mind. Now he of course has passed no law saying people can't speak but its not a normal occurance for the President to say something along those lines.

unfortunately, hillary put herself in the shadows of history by taking the secdef job.....quoting her is no more valid than quoting al gore

they are two people who lost the votes for the top job.....hillary should have kept her senate seat....but she was obsessed with the whitehouse....and judging from her look lately.....she regrets it

Wow! I did not realize that Reid and Hillary were the same person.
Thanks for the heads up.

Reid's comment is melodramatic at best, but what is the point of this thread? I don't see the comparison, or the double-standard.

I have, however, heard the usual parade of whiny connie cons saying "Oh, of course dissent was patriotic when it was the LEFT dissenting!" The usual "A Ha!" gotcha BS.

Fact is, dissent is fine. It's fine now, as it was during the Bush admin. Screaming so loud that other opinions can't be heard, and getting as much disinformation out there as you can? Not so much.

:lmao:

You fool.

I went to one of Max Baucus's little infomercials. It was civil enough. It also did not allow any dissenting questions to be asked, or provide any answers anyone who dissented with the plan. So much for being civil. Many dissenters were there and many asked legitimate questions. By being civil, they were ignored.

Sometimes, in political atmospheres as has been built up by the post election liberals, shouting is the only way to be heard.

My post didn't even deserve a response...it was little rant I expected to be ignored....

but your post just begs for an answer...Reid and Hillary were the same person.....WTF is that about.....how the hell did you arrive at that conclusion from my post...????
You reading comprehension is practically non-existent....
but then I've noticed that before about you....:clink:

Wow.

Certainly one of the most pathetic rationalizations I have heard to date.
