It was a high-pressure power play to get Ukraine to investigate Biden and his son. Very blatant. Zelesneky is fighting against Russia now. Trump withheld the funds that the House voted to help them until they did a "favor". That was using that money to force them to do what he wanted.
It was not Trump's money.
Ukraine already did a Biden jr investigation and found no wrongdoing. That was in 2015. Trump wants them to try again and get different results. Otherwise, they might have trouble getting help from the US.
Trump is as low and dirty as that. So are rightys.

What stupidity? What was he going to say? Trump has his hooks in the money Zelensky needs to fight off Russia. What would Trump do if he said " hell yes I was pressured, he talked about the missiles before he asked me to do him a "favor". Then Trump refuses to give him the help that the House had passed, This was high pressure on a guy in a fight with Trump's buddy Putin.
