The Right Wing Tantrum Continues

Howey

Banned

After the President's resounding and historic victory on Thursday, the right wing has been in turmoil. Accusations, denial, more falsehoods, and attacks have been levied at the SCOTUS by every level of the Republican Party.

Now Rep. Louie Gohmert, of arguably the craziest state in the union, Texas, and known to be one of my top five craziest spokesperson for the right wing, has called for the impeachment of Justice Elena Kagan:

A leading Republican congressmen in the fight to repeal Obamacare said today’s Supreme Court ruling is “illegitimate” and has called for one of the Supreme Court Justices to be impeached...

GOHMERT: We still have the issue of Justice Kagan. Either she was totally derelict and negligent in her duties as Solicitor General and had absolutely nothing to do with the most important bill to the president, her boss, or she did have something to do with it, she has violated federal law, and as such she needs to be removed from the Supreme Court. [...] I think it’s important to look at Justice Kagan for potential impeachment. [...]

KEYES: Considering she was the deciding vote in the case, does that leave the ruling illegitimate if she broke federal law?

GOHMERT: Yes it would. It would mean this decision would be illegitimate if she lied in order to get onto the Court.

Watch the breakdown:

Good ol' Louie. With Sarah disgraced, Rick Perry disgraced, Michele Bachmann disgraced, Uncle Herman...where the hell has he been?...out of the picture; leave it to Crazy Uncle Louie to grasp the crown of idiocy and run with it!

Didn't you know?

The decision upholding "Obamacare" was a great victory for conservatives....

Only for those who forgot to take their meds.

How do you explain the simultaneous "celebrations" of the "great conservative victory" and the new threats to repeal "Obamacare" regardless of the Supreme Court ruling?

Uh-Oh...Louie's got some competition from some Tightie Rightie nutjob from New Hampshire:

A New Hampshire Tea Party head has said that he hopes the majority justices in the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Affordable Care Act get “get colon cancer,” according to the Merrimack Patch. Mike Malzone, founder of the Merrimack, New Hampshire Tea Party joined the ranks of conservatives who are heaping opprobrium upon the heads of the Supreme Court, who upheld the bulk of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama’s signature piece of domestic legislation as constitutional on Thursday.

Conservatives have exhibited a veritable rainbow of bad reactions to Thursday’s announcement. Former Fox News personality Glenn Beck has taken to selling Chief Justice John Roberts T-shirts that say “Coward” on his website ($30 plus shipping and handling). Matt Drudge and others have been blaming the ruling on Roberts’s epilepsy medication, although presumably his ruling on Citizens United was not affected by the same factors.

Merrimack, New Hampshire libertarian and Tea Party president Mike Malzone has gone further than others in his outrage, declaring in a Facebook post on the Merrimack Tea Party page, “I hope the (5 supremes) get colon cancer.”

When the post was met with outrage, Malzone backtracked a day later, while waxing lachrymose.

“I didn’t wish for anyone to die, but I said I do wish for them to feel our pain,” he said. “No one cares about me, they all make their promises and then go do what they goddamn feel.”

wow...so it has been a mere 3 days

yet...howey and his ilk are still whining about citizens united YEARS later

thanks for admitting that liberals like you have the crown on tantrums howey

Sure did.

Hate radio host Rush Limbaugh has been one of health care reform’s most vociferous opponents, warning that “[h]uman beings will die earlier than normal” under the “freedom killing” and “life threatening” plan, and calling for it to be “aborted.” Yesterday, Limbaugh put his money where his mouth is, saying that if health care passes and all his fears are realized, he’ll leave the country:
CALLER: If the health care bill passes, where would you go for health care yourself? And the second part of that is, what would happen to the doctors, do they have to participate in the federal program, or could they opt out of it? [...]
LIMBAUGH: My guess in even in Canada and even in the UK, doctors have opted out. And once they’ve opted, they can’t see anybody Medicare, Medicaid, or what will become the exchanges. They have to have a clientele of private patients that will pay them a retainer and it’ll be a very small practice. I don’t know if that’s been outlawed in the Senate bill. I don’t know. I’ll just tell you this, if this passes and it’s five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented — I am leaving the country. I’ll go to Costa Rica.
Limbaugh’s self-imposed exile should be all the incentive needed to pass health care reform.

Well, didn't Florida Governor Scott say he would refuse to implement the law?

So Rush can stay.

Nobody's whining about CU. Merely pointing out it's flawed in it's premise.

I don't see anyone on the left clamboring for impeachment of justices or questioning their medical status, or their sanity for that matter.

Although I will categorically state that Uncle Clarence is a certifiable loon if that makes you feel any better. :)

LOL, are any Democrat governors announcing that they won't "implement" CU?

i see. so when people like myself point out the flawed premise from NFIB, why do you call that whining? if you don't, most of your liberal buddies on this site do.

your second sentence makes no sense. are you imagining things?

your last sentence proves you're a typical left winger bigot. uncle clarence....good lord, why don't you far left wing hate filled bigots move beyond the slavery days.

more proof onceler can't debate.

Really?

I thought it was more proof that you're obsessed w/ liberals & their reaction to CU. I mean, really - how many comments & threads have you made on that, in a week when everyone else is talking about the SC decision on ACA?

I find that telling. Don't you?

still no debate huh....figures. all you're capable of is sniping. you can't address substance.

talking about CU is absolutely pertinent with regards to liberals like yourself who claim "righties" are whining about NFIB. you can't claim that it is whining when someone doesn't agree with a decision you like when you still talk about how CU is wrong.

that is above your head though. you will not address the actual subject, you will merely snipe.

Nah- you're the stupid one. Always.

No one else is talking about CU. Because you're m.o. is "trying to nail liberal hypocrisy," you are. But, unfortunately, another m.o. for you is finding apples to apples comparisons when oranges are involved.
