Oh wow I never saw that before, that really says it all. Amazing and then people deny racism! That is crazy. Yes, like that!
Right, exactly. It's so obvious. You saw what happened immediately with terrorism questions. Asked, excitement...oh he's white. "No connection to terrorism."
I guess we define the word differently.

Gun-lovers act as if they were the victims.
insanity. doing the same thing over and over again hoping for different results, like trying to take away guns from people who didn't commit the crime. you're a moron, but if you want my gun, come try to take it.I hope so.
There is no need for guns to be in the hands of crazies like this. Especially AK 47's.

that is the only way they get them. after i've emptied the magazines of course. You forgot to mention "cold, dead hands".![]()
Who are you going to inform and what exactly do you think they would do about it?
When somebody in my family had a breakdown I simply went and got their gun and took it to my house. I'll give it back if they ever get better.

However I would, at the very least, attempt to contact authorities and warn them of a danger to others. At that point I have done the very least that I could do by passing the buck.
What the frick is WRONG with them? Why the heck would they immediately try to draw such a stupid connection?
What's really F'd up to me is that the dude's mother, before she left San Diego to come here, said, "Yeah, you got the right guy." according to reports.
If she knew this guy was dangerous yet did nothing about it, how culpable is she?

I did this very thing when my brother went through a divorce. Knowing his temperament and the stress he was under I asked him for his guns and he willingly gave them to me. I kept them at my place for about 6 months. I doubt to this day that anything would have happened if I hadn't taken the guns but I was going to be as sure as I could at the time.
that implies that you think i'm crazy. i reject that notion and I believe so would leaning.Well that is your brother. This person would not give them up willingly. What would you do if STY was your brother, call him up and tell him your coming to get his guns? I mean, think about it. It can be very difficult knowing what to do.
Well, after that guy killed all those people in Arizona last year, the one who shot Gabby Giffords, and I saw his picture, I showed it to my mom to see if I was crazy. But she had the same sick feeling. So this person is someone I know, but I did not report him. He has guns and he is mentally ill, but that is only my opinion. He has never been diagnosed. What am I supposed to do call the police and say hey this guy he has guns and when he smiles it is the same eerie smile as the guy who shot Giffords and he has some really wild political conspiracy theories and you can find him at...no. You can't do that Damo. You can only intervene once a threat is made. Like, oh I am going do to this, or i am going to do that. It is very difficult. I wish we took mental illness more serious in this country. Other countries do. I think it is easier to reach out there.

Without knowing the specifics of this case and the son-mother relationship I think we've all known people with a screw loose where you probably wouldn't expect them to do anything bad but if they did you wouldn't be all that shocked either.
