Griffin and Grete Sadeiko were engaged in May in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Griffin popped the question on Lauderdale By the Sea Beach. Sadeiko was a track athlete at Florida State. She was the Seminoles' record-holder in heptathlon and pentathlon when she graduated on May 6.

So? The GF's niece (an officer in the Navy) is marrying a black man (well, half, and he's also a Navy officer) this fall. We had quite a nice conversation, mostly about firearms and his two tours in Afghanistan with Navy SEAL snipers. Hell of a nice guy and he's a conservative. Her whole family likes him.
