The thuggery of Argentina’s Falklands claim

Surely, as he is omnipotent he could appear everywhere? Can he only appear in one place at a time because he has to get everywhere by bus? Not very god-like. Are you sure it isn't just some bloke with a long beard dressed up in a robe?

Or maybe he chooses not to appear as you wish and leaves it up to you to pay attention. :)
You should start paying attention.

Arrogance is a beautiful thing, when done well.

If he is working on world peace he is taking his sweet time about it. Is he just a little lazy? I'm not asking for much, just a two minute appearance once in the last two thousand years. He was always popping up in the old testament days, then you couldn't open a supermarket without him arriving and burning some poor defenseless bush but since he has been as absent as someone very absent indeed.

Lazy? He has been working his ass off to make sure Tim Tebow wins football games. That is some hard fucking shit to pull off. Give the poor guy a break.

I constantly pay attention, its part of the job description for an atheist missionary. I've even asked religious people to show me, but none can???

Maybe you need to stop relying on others and start relying on yourself.
Others seem to have had no problem in finding him. :)

Truth is not a democracy US. If the whole world believe the moon is made of cheese, it doesn't mean that the moon is made of cheese. I'm not going to believe in something of which there is absolutely no evidence beyond anecdotes from inside people's minds. I know how easily manipulated human minds can be. Especially when there is such an overwhelming argument in favour of the idea of gods being a human invention...

When's the last time you saw an orangutan in Borneo?

No no my child, I am just a busy mother fucker. It doesn't mean I don't love you. I do. As I do all my children. Except for Sean Penn of course because he is a giant douche bag.

Seeing as land that his Malibu estate is on was misappropriated from the Mexicans after the Mexican-American War, I'm sure that Sean Penn will only be too willing to hand it back to its rightful owners.

That was what I stated as well. There was also an article (I think in the telegraph) that was on the same point. Somehow I doubt Sean Penn will see it that way.

Who pissed themselves? You can't successfully evacuate 250'000 men if you are panicking. Orderly. Calm. British. And it wasn't aid, we paid for every item of kit we bought from the US. We didn't get anything from the US. The huge bollocks of the 8th Army during the battle of El Alamein turned back Rommel in N Africa. If the Argies had half such a pair of balls between them in '82 maybe they wouldn't have been battered so easily. From 8000 miles away.

WOW that would be like Texas pounding thier chest for kicking Rhode Islands ass.

Those soldiers that were evacuated from Dunkirk were the same ones that went on to successfully defend Tobruk from Rommel. I should also mention the Aussies who fought like men possessed holding it for 7 months when their initial brief was to hold for 8 weeks.

Please don't pretend we weren't supplying you with billions in armament.
Dunkirk is what you could muster without us.

This was the first battle that destroyed the myth of German invincibility and the Aussies were led by a former schoolmaster General Morshead. The US did not start supplying Sherman tanks until the second battle for El Alamein in 1942, well after Tobruk. No doubt you are thinking of the 50 clapped out mothballed WW1 destroyers that Roosevelt sent to Britain in exchange for using bases in Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Newfoundland etc.

President Roosevelt signed the Lend-Lease bill into law on 11 March 1941. It permitted him to "sell, transfer title to, exchange, lease, lend, or otherwise dispose of, to any such government [whose defense the President deems vital to the defense of the United States] any defense article". In April, this policy was extended to China,[SUP][12][/SUP] and in October to the Soviet Union. Roosevelt approved US $1 billion in Lend-Lease aid to Britain at the end of October 1941.

We can only fight the enemy in front of us, not our fault that the only soldiers argentina could put up (including their 'elite' marine infantry) fought so badly, died so easily and surrendered so quickly. Where was argentina's fighting spirit?

Again, we paid for EVERY item we got from the US and didn't take a penny after the war ended. The Battle of Britain was what we mustered before the US entered the war. A battle that saved the future of the free world. A battle similar to Thermopylae, only with us winning.

Now what did argentina do during the war, apart from take in numerous Nazi leaders?
