Exactly. And then there's the whole reality about no matter how many assault rifles and modified semi-auto to fully auto bang-bang dicksticks they have.... the tanks, smart bombs, incendiaries, and troops will roll right over their idiotic last stands like we did to the villages in Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan. To put it more plainly for the gunhumpers: Don't matter how many 2nd Amendment solutions you got there, Jethro.... you aren't going to keep "the government from tyranny" that way.

Maybe you should frequent the many current military and veteran websites to see just who our military would support in a civil conflict.
Hint: It's not your liberal/socialist ideology.

Indeed, and the Constitution provides for a lawfully established government. Can you see circumstances in which significant numbers of the military would break their oath "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic ... and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States"?

If the government wanted to do something like that, I can only assume you'd be in a nursing home before it accomplished anything. Government can't get their shit together for something like that, and it's not even what the left wants. Many on the left hunt, and use guns. The lefts goal is just dealing with sales of certain things, not confiscation. How would you even tell where the guns are, without tracking?

Just the theoretical ban would make them happy. If they had difficulty enforcing it, they would still have their victory on paper.

Well see, it was all a huge scam by the White Star Line to defraud Lloyd's of London. It's hidden in a bay of an island atoll in the Pacific Proving Grounds. The area is forbidden due to radiation from the 1940s-50s nuclear testing, so it will remain undiscovered. ;~)

That's a great theory and worthy of this forum. :D

Especially since the ship had to travel from England down, around and up South America, and across the Pacific without being spotted. There's probably an entire colony of inbreeds there, more hidden than the Uncontacted Indians of the Amazonian rain forest. ;)
