Which is good for you since the care you get is so poor. You see there is a price you pay for cheap care and that is poor outcomes. As long as you are comfortable with it, then good on ya. You probably don't know any different and your politicians count on public ignorance.

You are not looking at the big picture, which is why this article in Scientific American is required reading.

I would like to bring people back on topic please. The topic is this. How do you explain the US having better outcomes than the UK in cancer survival while not having "single payer"?
Because government is, and always will be, about quantity, not quality. It will never be able to compete with the private sector - at least not at the top levels.
